Here we go...
This theme seems so random. I guess an Easter theme would have been inappropriate.
I have visions of bunny suits if they made it Easter week. Or peeps, lots of peeps...
I just realized - the 'singers' are back.
Kendra is my new least favorite contestant.
As adorable as Ralph is, there was a lot of awkward in that dance. His posture is strange.
I haven't watched this season, and I hate Sweet Home Alabama, but that was fun.
And it starts with 'Sweet Home Alabama'? What's next "Freebird"?
Is it in Bruno's contract that he needs to gyrate like a wheelchair on ice every week?
How could you Samba to that music?
Born in the USA? American Woman??
Oh, god, Bruno...
Carrie Ann should be judging American Idol.
Night Ranger's You Can Still Rock in America? Or is that too obscure?
This is so frong on so many levels, none of it Karate Kid's fault. NOT a well conceived dance AT ALL. Of course, my loathing of Sweet Home Alabama might have influenced that.
We have "get the loins going" from Bruno and "give me sex, man" and it's not even ten minutes into the show. It's going to be a long, long, looong night.
Exactly. At least we know Karina isn't Derek who ALWAYS got the appropriate music for the dance.
You'd think Karina would have worn an Edyta costume as a preview of her Playboy spread.
Okay, I hate Kendra.
I'm shocked - Brooke looks good for a change!
I want Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy tonight. I would settle, however, for "In The Navy".
@ Tom "Bruno doesn't just want dinner"!
Oh goody - Kendra is blaming Carrie Ann for her F****NG lack of elegance.
Kendra feels like trash? Judges are supposed to judge you twit.
Do the pros get hazardous pay?
I agree. Len and Bruno are going on and on about the rhythm that is lacking... well, Latin music and dance is all about the rhythm, and you can't separate the dance from the rhythm of the music it is danced to. If I was Brazilian (or a Cuban), I would be pissed that part of my culture is being mis-represented in such a ridiculous fashion on this show with the shitty music they are using.
dead people must pick the music
I am so not liking this Americana theme - too cheesy and doesn't work for anyone doing samba. I thought Karina did a really nice choreography to the song.
Kirstie looks great in that I Dream of Jeannie outfit too.
Chris is cracking me up with his comments!
I don't believe I've ever seen a waltz choreographed to America the Beautiful.
What an awful vocal to that song! I mean, I shouldn't be surprised, but yikes.
Chris Jericho is improving every week.
I think Chris will get more than 7 from Len. That was definitely better than Ralph's samba.
Am I the only one who thinks Cheryl's dress looks like a nightie? It would look a lot better if the top was closed, and without the silver bra.
Well, you COULD in theory samba to it, but that didn't work.
Meanwhile, Chris and Cheryl try to waltz while some gospel-wannabe (tiara girl?) from the band goes to town on "America the Beautiful".
And...Cheryl's eyes are UP HERE, LEN. (His turn to be the perv?)
Len making the saucy comment? Bruno has to up his game!
Oh sweetheart. Don't strain your voice like this. Oh well--I guess it's good that her voice is so pitchy, you don't notice that the entire band was off-rhythm.
I keep waiting for Chris Jericho to offer to carry Cheryl's bags and offer his opinions on which are the best restaurants.
Bruno has already won the night. You really can't top "Give me sex, man!"
Started 15 minutes late, but catching up quickly by fastforwarding through commercials and Bruno's nonsense. Ralph looked forced and "thinking through" parts of that dance, but how the heck do you samba on Americana night and not look a little forced.
Can America sue the vocalist for this performance of America the Beautiful?
ETA: at Jericho's imitation of Len.
Bet he's getting an 8 from Len
Oh, you knew Len was stringing him along....
