Yay! Caro went for 3F+3T, landed both 3Ss, including the one on the end of the program AND got +2s and +3s on her 3Lz. I can't wait for London...

Thanks, Sylvia. Was this a random draw since there weren't too many entries? Am trying to figure out how Joubidou is in the first warm-up group and some very OES are in the last.

Yes, Senior B comps always have random SP draws.

Joubidou is going early so he can lay it down and show the rest of the field how it's done. Or so I hope.

No arguments from my end. Brilliant plan of action, as a matter of fact! Hopefully, Alex Johnson skates well in the next group, too.

    According to a tweet by @MaisonDeJoubert, Brian scored "78,21 (4-2, 3C, 3A)" which I interpret to be 4T+2T, 3Lz, 3A.

I suspect the triple is actually a 3S, and had been meant to be a 4S. Joubert went for two quads in the SP at the Challenge Cup last year, and reportedly has been working on the 4S in training.

Yes, @MaisonDeJoubert just tweeted it was 3S. (I'm told 3C is the Russian abbreviation for 3S.)

Worlds is going to be a real combination of :wuzrobbed and :cheer2: for ladies. I'll be happy with a win from Caro, Adelina, Liza, Mao or Akiko. Which means I'll be sad and happy regardless of the results.

Joubert still ahead with triple salchow? Lucky! And the fusp? Even if he was trying a quad salchow and tripled it he's lucky.

Joubert's SP (video via LMDJ rather than the official channel): http://youtu.be/nV1j46fJjcM

None of the jumps were great, though all were clean (the 3S barely so). I'm no good with levels so I have no idea why he lost them on the spins or the steps. With the steps, the only thing I noticed is that he doesn't cover the whole ice surface because it's basically last year's circular step sequence, when steps were supposed to have a pattern. Could that be it?
