IMO, Haven may ultimately eclipse her big sister. Please discuss among yourselves!
OMG, are you watching NBC right now, too? I was just thinking this!
I was thinking it all week while in San Jose. And, that's seeing her off the ice as well.
Great minds think alike? I was just thinking the same thing watching Denney/Frazier's exhibition.
I would love to have someone give both Denney sisters makeovers, though. Who's in charge of their styling?
Off the ice, Haven Denney dresses very well and appears to wear little if any makeup. From what was dicussed, there were no makeup services provided for this Nationals which may explain some of Caydee's overdone makeup for the long program. Her short program appearance was quite a bit better, IMO
Yeah, I like Haven better. And she just looks a lot less...ok, I've never met Caydee, but based on her actual physical appearance and on-ice persona, she has this kind of snotty look, and Haven doesn't have that. And I just feel like Haven has more appeal as a skater.
I do agree that they both need makeovers. Haven looks overdone, and I think she needs to look more natural on the ice (in terms of costumes/makeup. She looks like something from Toddlers and Tiaras).
Denney and Frazier are definitely better packaged.
What did they (Haven/partner) skate to in the exhibition?
"All That Jazz."
I've never seen Haven before. She's very cute.
Okay...now that they "Tebowed" on national television, I really don't like them.
Glad to see that based on something substantive.
My sister and I are watching right now. She's a Caydee fan, I'm a Haven fan. We both went "WTF?" at the Tebow-ing. Especially because the girls looked so horrified to do it.
I will say, I think Caydee looked better today than she usually does.
I may get over it. Where Haven is concerned. The other one spent the first part of that interview --when the interviewer was talking--making sure to make eyes at the camera. Enough already!
ETA: Eh...now Mambo #5 has sealed the deal on Caydee. Ugh.
I know! Natalie's just like "ok, what's with this music?" I just don't really like Caydee. She's not that interesting.
I get the vibe that she thinks she is that interesting.
As do I.
Haven's positions, especially in the lifts, are far superior to Caydee's. If Denney/Frazier acquire consistency in the jumps and throws as seniors, I don't see why they can't overtake Denney/Coughlin one day.
Haven Denney is marginally better packaged than her sister, who looked like a two-bit you-know-what in the LP at US nationals.
I think Denney and Frazier have a lot of potential.
K for this Canadian, what does it mean to "Tebow" on national TV? did they pray?
That's harsh. I'd say more like a Vegas showgirl. Gaudy and tacky, yes, but "whorish" is a bit much.
Haha, it's this weird-looking crouch position.
Let's just crouch and randomly start praying! um... no! Yet more reason to dislike the Denney sisters...
I am still trying to figure how Caydee and John won, but that's another thread. Haven was much more pleasant to watch. She's much more graceful and I don't cringe at her lift positions
For Caydee's severe infraction for making more than one skating fan cringe at her lift positions, she should receive at least 2 years being stretched on the rack followed by at least 3 years in a ballet class!
My biggest problem with Caydee's skating and complete lack of grace and poise is that she actually won nationals. That in and of itself is bad enough. Where is the motivation to improve and fix the fugliness of her skating and total lack of artistic ability if you reward her with titles? The judges are sending a message that what she is doing is exceptional and acceptable and it's not
It was their SP program from Chicago.
i guess her name precedes that? i would love to see haven denney duke it out with donlan, if donlan does go up the ranks with her partner.
Sort of looks like this to me. How inappropriate at the U.S. Championshits.http://www.google.com/imgres?q=squa...&w=239&h=286&ei=MxcuT5LrM86trAfgz9W8DA&zoom=1
