Michael Weiss skated on the Rock Center ice this morning on the Today Show (in the 4th quarter of the 2nd hour). It was a promo for Sunday's Disson Family Skating Tribute on NBC. His daughter Annie Mae was with him for the pre-skate interview and he skated to a song performed by her. I'm sure it's probably available online if you're interested.

    Hi
Thanks for the information. Does anyone know if the French Canadian Channel will air Stars on Ice this year. It usually is much longer than the English CBC one. I cannot find the schedule.
    Thank you

My PVR states that ARTV is airing "patinage artistique" this coming Monday. No other description. It's two hours long. Maybe CSOI?

Canadian Stars on Ice is showing up on my guide for Monday, with a couple of repeats. Patinage Artistic, showing on the French channel, Sat or Sunday is described as Skate Canada International. There's also something showing that says originally broadcast in 2000 - with no further info.

It usually airs in mid december, probably on Sunday December 15. Here is the schedule, there is nothing yet. I'll keep checking.

Thanks, Teenes! Too bad it's only 1 hour. It's been the full 2 hours for at least the last two years. Hopefully CBC and SRC will show completely different programs.

On the French CBC from Montreal it is listed as "Sport Weekend" but the description says:

Thanks Victorskid. Unfortuantely I have not listings for Sport Weekend either. I have gone through all the listings for the french cbc station for the next 2 weeks and have come up with just one item for this Sunday, Dec 15 3-5 CT, which is listed as Patinage artistique - Presentation d'un etape du Grand Prix ISU. I will of course check it out just in case but perhaps my local affiliate is not going to show it.

    Hi
I live in Eastern Ontario and have Bell Express . On channel 125 ICI-O Sport Week-end is on from 3pm to 430 pm. The guide says Les coulisses de la tournee Stars on Ice Canada. I am presuming this is this years Stars on Ice.

As usual, the French station has done interviews with the skaters about the show. So far the only different skating number I have noticed is Shawn Sawyer doing his butterfly number in the first 45 minutes but the interviews are very interesting.
