Sounds interesting. Can't wait to see Singin' in the Rain live. Only one solo for Duhamel & Radford though?? Can't wait to see the show in Victoria & Vancouver :)

I don't have anything to add to this excellent review except that I was there last night too and thought it was excellent.

By some miracle, I scored EXCELLENT seats in the presale and ended up sitting on the red line (centre ice) right behind the penalty box.

Kurt Browning came out and sat in the penalty box to watch Patrick Chan's first number with the hat. I'm not sure what I enjoyed more...watching Patrick or watching Kurt watch Patrick....lol! Renee Roca was also seated in the penalty box throughout the evening.

I have to try and get these seats again next year.

So glad I got the chance to go this year even if it did mean my 2 year old son wouldn't go to bed until I came home and then cried for 20 minutes when I was trying to get him to bed at 11pm! LOL!

^^^ lucky you with the great seat! Your boy must be very attached to you or you have been the one putting him to sleep. Your signature ...yes, mums deserved some nights out to enjoy themselves.:)

Thanks. Where precisely on starsonice.com I can find this information? I tried to find it there myself with no success. Was it in one of the news articles?

Thank you very much for the detailed review! A great read :).

All of the above combined with bad timing too as his daddy also had to leave on a work trip last night, Nanna was at the show with me and poppa was the one trying to get him to go to bed.

He usually likes Poppa to put him to bed but too much going on last night, I think...

Maybe next year my husband and I will go to CSOI and Nanna and Poppa can babysit. :D

Add me to the list of those thanking you for a fine review! I hope to hear more as the tour proceeds across Canada. I'm looking forward to next Fri. in Toronto!
And for those who can't go, I just noticed that 2012 SOI is on tv on Wed. night.

    Videos of Halifax show:

Partial clip of opening number to "Somebody That I Used To Know": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v135h50jDiE&feature=youtu.be
Partial clip of Ashley Wagner's "Vienna": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkUIyf14Myo&feature=youtu.be (very poor quality)
    Sinead & John Kerr's "Mad World": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jiGe4a0Bhw&feature=youtu.be
    Shawn Sawyer's "Carmina Berana": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZrXcLYN5O0&feature=youtu.be
    Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir's "Stay": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBKyzYMxzVQ&feature=youtu.be
Shawn Sawyer's "Seven Nation Army": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwQx_I8ccZo&feature=youtu.be
    Ashley Wagner's "Sweet Dreams": http://youtu.be/KTI2T8CKSgA
Jeffrey Buttle's "In This Shirt": http://youtu.be/L3P25ZuPqzE
    Sinead & John Kerr's "Coronach": http://youtu.be/0wgoWsIXjoM

I'll edit this post with each new video as I post them. Please keep in mind a couple things. I am far from capable when it comes to technology.. so the video quality definitely progresses as the videos go. The first 2 are just partial clips and about halfway through I was able to figure out the settings and if you look at the videos of Jeffrey Buttle's 2nd number and The Kerr's 2nd number, for example, those turned out really well actually. The other is that these are the only ones that I have available. Did not tape any other programs just so everyone is aware in advance before asking. Hope you enjoy!

    QUESTION!!

if someone is a member of the fan club, can you look and tell me if there are still meet and greet tickets for the toronto show because ... if there are, i will purchase a fan club membership and get it. if there's not, then i won't bother.

Just home from the Ottawa show - I thoroughly enjoyed it. Lot of really fun numbers, and lots of great skating. I particularly enjoyed a number with Joannie Rochette & Jeffery Buttle and the closing all-cast number.

It looks still open for now but I think you should hurry. I *think* 21th is the deadline.

sk8dsmom: My mistake! I made the change from private to unlisted. You should be able to watch Shawn's 2nd program now! :)

Doris: It's more than OK to repost these on GS! I meant to but I just haven't got around to it yet. There's already a thread with the review I believe. :))

You can watch Wagner's debut of her "Sweet Dreams" exhibition program, choreographed by Shae-Lynn Bourne, via the ISU Skating Channel on demand video coverage of the WTT Gala (geo-blocked in Japan & Korea): http://livemanager.eurovision.edgesuite.net/isu/site/index.html

I'm sure N_Halifax will change the setting from private to unlisted soon. :)
