I get it Gev is dressed like the Fighting Irish mascot. I thought he was a Christmas elf!
Kitties and pups are making me cry. Gotta give my own cats extra cuddles,

Hey Disson/Pandora - that split screen could be useful during other specials too. Just sayin'....
They must figure that people who would watch skating will donate.
they figure people who follow skating are used to suffering and lost causes
and they arent wrong
True. And spend money to suffer.
Kadavy was good- really stood out. So did N/B. Boitano really owned it.
Again, So You Think You Can Dance finalist. Why, who knows, as I said before, he's taking the place of Dan Hollander and/or Steven Cousins, who they actually let skate without schtick. I was just shocked when Gev actually got on skates & did his B-Boy moves on the ice in said skates.
He was also in the land of the Fighten' Irish, obviously, hence the Leprechan.
Here's an article on Gev from Ice Network
I know he's done a variety of skating related charity events, including Kristi's fundraiser for her Foundation and Skate for Life.
Yes, I googled him. It was more of a rhetorical question. I was amazed too by his skating skills, although the standing on his head thing was a tad repetitive by the fourth time I saw it. Not every skate fan watches SYTYCD.
then again, i wasnt a fan of the hoop girl either
Ah! Gev is Akop's son. That's the FS connection. I remember Ari and Akop in shows back in the glory days of pro skating.
The show is repeating now (8-10 pm) & 10-12 midnight ET tonight on Ovation.
Thanks Sylvia. My mind is mush these days and the reminder is appreciated.
He's Akop's son? I didn't know that! Ari & Akop were a lot of fun. That also must be why the guy can skate!
