I’ve been digging through my old tapes and have started capturing and posting some stuff that is not up on Youtube. Please check out my channel! I have a lot of Bechke and Petrov (anyone on here from the old Yahoo BPFans mailing list who contributed to the compilation set circa 1999-2000?), as well as SOI group numbers, but some of the highlights include:

1997 Chrysler Dreams on Ice: (Brasseur and Eisler’s children’s charity show, includes B&E talking about the other skaters)

    1. Bechke and Petrov: Kalinka
    2. Brian Orser: La Vie en Rose
    3. Brasseur and Eisler: Miss Otis Regrets
    4. Brasseur and Eisler: Celebration
    5. Michael Weiss: Greased Lightning
    6. Brasseur on Kerrigan
    7. Charity fashion show footage

    Stars On Ice, 1994-2000:

    1. The Red Hat (US and Canadian)
    2. Fun and Games (US, Canadian, German)
    3. Romeo and Juliet (Yamaguchi, Bechke and Petrov, Annenko and Sretenski)
    4. Josée Chouinard and Brian Orser’s Red Hat interlude
    5. Three Women: Chouinard, Sumners, Gordeeva
    6. Cool World: Scott with Bechke and Petrov, Hough and Ladret (and Chouinard in the Canadian edition)
    7. Other group numbers: Beatles finale, Stairway to Heaven finale, prom night finale, Five minutes for Icing, etc.
    8. Bootleg footage of Bechke and Petrov’s last SOI show in 2000

    Various:

    1. SOI cast interview after Sergei’s death
    2. Celebration of a Life: Russian intro with Gordeeva’s opening comments in Russian
    3. Baby It’s Cold Outside: Katarina Witt with Denis Petrov, Gorsha Sur, and Doug Ladret (1996 Holiday Festival on Ice)

And of course lots of Bechke and Petrov, including some of their amateur and early pro performances (aka. “What was Moskvina thinking?”). The following is new B&P material hitherto not up on youtube:

    Amateur:

    1. 1990 NHK (SP, LP, exhibition – not the greatest quality but it’s all I’ve got)
    2. 1992 Olympics (exhibition)
    3. 1992 Worlds (exhibition)

    Professional:

    1. Wabash Blues
    2. Yellow Submarine
    3. Once Upon a Dream
    4. When You Tell Me That You Love Me
    5. Russian Dance
    6. Kalinka
    7. Liebestraum (featuring an epic 30-second-long combination lift)
    8. Whole Lotta Love
    9. Blue Danube Waltz
    10. Joue Jusqu’au Matin

…and lots of other performances of their other programs too (I Masnadieri, You Don’t Bring Me Flowers, Samson and Delilah, Spartacus, Romance, The Lady and the Hooligan, Czardas, Snowstorm).

I will keep posting updates here as I add new videos.

    THANKS!

I recently got a program (of which the audio part of it still doesn't seem to work right-- Roxio-- anyone?), but I am also transferring some things I haven't seen on youtube yet.

Because of the lack of sound, I made an awesomely cheesy-Olympic, video of Midori Ito from 1992 Olympic practice where she landed 8 double axels in a row (without any steps in between!) with music from John Williams's Olympic CD:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AS0tkiYRM3A

This is NOT the same video of when she did 10 double axels in a row, with steps in between:

Wow, I've never seen those before, thanks!
I can't help with Roxio, I used EZGrabber (that my husband set up. All I know is to click record and stop, haha.)

Sure. Give me a few days. She did two programs there: one to Celtic music, and something Native American-inspired (can't recall off the top of my head if it was music from Disney's Pocahontas or something else).

Thank you! I didn't even know this show was televised so looking forward to seeing the videos. From the small clip it showed on your video it looks like her Indian in the cupboard program. Thanks!

That would have been Indian in the Cupboard.

Bechke and Petrov at 1990 NHK :swoon: ... The detail is shocking.

Sorry, I'm not following. Are you referring to the choreography...?

Yes, the choreography ... so Soviet.

:shuffle: Maybe I'm just easily amused given paint by number pairs of today.

That's true. Pairs is my favourite discipline but I hate what IJS has done to it. That being said, Moskvina still needs to answer for the arm-flapping in the 1990 NHK exhibition.

New videos added: group numbers from the 1994 Canadian and US SOI, and some Bechke and Petrov pro competition stuff. (Apologies to anyone in Germany, some of the videos are blocked there because of music copyright).

    You're welcome, lutz28!

I've added selections from 1997 Chrysler Dreams On Ice. This was Brasseur and Eisler’s charity show and features little vignettes from B&E on the other skaters:

    1. Opening number
    2. Brasseur and Eisler: Miss Otis Regrets
    3. Brasseur and Eisler: Celebration
    4. Bechke and Petrov: Romance
    5. Bechke and Petrov: Kalinka
    6. Brian Orser: La Vie En Rose
    7. Jozef Sabovcik: Trapped
    8. Michael Weiss: Greased Lightning
    9. Steven Cousins: Help
    10. Nancy Kerrigan: Riverdance
    11. Nancy Kerrigan: The Indian in the Cupboard
    12. Charity fashion show footage
    13. Closing number

*Weiss and the closing number are uploading as we speak.

    Added from the 1995 CSOI:
    http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsqFW_md-epwuL-BVtS_GGQ

    1. Five Minutes for Icing (cast)
    2. Cool World (Hamilton, Chouinard, Bechke & Petrov, Hough & Ladret) - some fantastic synchro work from the two pairs!
    3. Samson & Delilah (Bechke & Petrov) - not the best quality, the clip from the US tour that I have is much better (will post in a few days).

The Spaghetti Western ensemble number and Rolling Stones finale from that year's tour have already been posted on youtube by other users. If you haven't seen the Spaghetti Western before, it is absolutely hilarious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhiJbjXAyzQ

Added from the 1995 US SOI:

    1.Rhapsody on Ice opening
    2. Five Minutes for Icing
    3. Cool World
    4. Rolling Stones finale (two parts, part two includes short interview with Witt and Hamilton)

Also added Bechke and Petrov's performances from the 1995-1996 Met Open (Limelight and You Don't Bring Me Flowers)

    Added the following today:

    1. Sergei Grinkov, Celebration of a Life: Russian broadcast opening number with Gordeeva's comments in Russian

    2. Sergei Grinkov, Celebration of a Life: US broadcast with Gordeeva's comments in English and Bechke and Petrov's performance of Spartacus

    3. Bechke and Petrov's technical program (When You Tell Me That You Love Me) from the 1995 World Pros. Their artistic program has been posted by another user (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYJviebbVY0) - this was the year they controversially lost to Kovarikova and Novotny who were allowed to reskate their program from the top after Radka tripped over some lighting gear.

I won't be adding anything else over the next couple of weeks since I think we'll all be busy watching the Olympics so enjoy! I'll be back after the Olympics with the 1996 US and Canadian SOI as well as all of Bechke and Petrov's competitions from their post-divorce winning streak. :)
