aussieSKATES: Figure Skating Downunder will be reporting live at the JGP of Brisbane from September 7 - 10.

We will be doing competition play - by - plays as well as reporting on practice, and hopefully, attending press conferences and interviewing some of the skaters.

If you haven't anything further news to post, might I suggest that you refrain from posting until you do. :)

I'm starting the begging and pleading from Canada early..I'm hoping Orford / Williams programs will make their way onto YouTube..esp. the FD ,which I've yet to see ( but hear is excellent).

Oh, and Liam Firus' FD would be warmly appreciated as well..;)

I hope this event is a great success and gives Australian skating a big boost.

Of course I meant Liam Firus' FP... ( Mind you, if he wants to dance it , I won't complain.)

Keep an eye on this channel then, http://www.youtube.com/user/ISUJGP2011 . The ISU was very consistent posting videos from Latvia.

I couldn't stay until the end, but I saw Jason perform. I thought that he would be hard to beat, he was very impressive.

It is fantastic that they are posting. Good on them for this (that's Australian for they have done a good thing). We get no mainstream media coverage at all of skating in Australia so this is very welcome.

Thanks to everyone for joining us this week for what was a great event. This competition was a great preview in the lead up to 2014 and 2018.

Thanks as well to those of you who came to say 'hi' in person.

    Cheers

It was great to meet you.

I enjoyed the event very much. There is something about a skating crowd. Once again, the local organisers did a fantastic job. I hope they did for other events. Thank you everyone.
