Oh my god, I thought living abroad for a few years in Beijing for work (I'm from the US) would suck but Beijing surprisingly has a lot of figure skating events this season.

There's cup of china, grand prix finals, and now this!! woohoo!!!

Is there anyone on the forum who live in or around Beijing?

Great cast. But what a pity they couldn't get Chen Lu. This must be China's first world class skating show since... ever.

I agree. Shen/Zhao should be very proud of collecting this super lineup!
I hope a Japanese TV will broadcast it again like they did Super Match so that Japanese fans can see our huge favorites (all of the cast!) and the happy wedding!
Now we should call and e-mail to TV stations to beg, beg and beg.:D

There are a few of us! I don't remember the usernames though. :) The others will come out of the woodwork soon enough, hopefully (I've told them too on FB! ;))

Would be nice to have an FSU meet-up in Beijing, there's usually just two or three of us!

The tickets sales website has English and Japanese versions, but they have some of events in Chinese site only. Unfortunately Artistry on Ice is not listed in Japanese or English websites.
Hopefully they will give opportunities to buy tickets for foreigners out of China.

No. But she is listed on the official website of the show “espnstar”.

I am not sure which is more reliable.

And it seems Shen/ Zhao made a press conference on 21st.
One of articles have the name of Shizuka in the list.

Yesterday, ShenZhao held the show’s press conference in Beijing.
They expressed their thanks to all the people who are always helping them, supporting them, loving them during their whole career, their fans, their coaches, their leaders, their friends, the media, the sponsors and so on, especially in their rough time, especially at the beginning of their new career. To hold the show is to reward these people. Xue even cannot help but shed a tear! (I want to cry too!:wuzrobbed)

It's understandable that Shen/Zhao invite Shizuka to their show. I heard that they are friends. I read somewhere that she speaks a little bit of Chinese. It seems Shizuka is also good friends with Pang/Tong. I heard they became friends during COI tour. She invites them to her show "Friends on Ice" every year.

The official website of the ice show updated the skaters list.
    http://www.espnstar.com.cn/feature/BSYZ2010100716/

Now the skaters list is the same on the official website and the ticket ‘s.
Wondering if the skaters list has been finalized?

Articles about this show are not only in Chinese, but also lots of them in English and Russian.
Hopefully they televised the show in the world.
Hope the show will be succeeded.

The lineup is amazing, but that's not many skaters in a show though, i wonder why they didn't invite more skaters?

I wonder if Lysacek has cancelled his participation, because there was earlier the info that he will be doing a show in China? Or maybe the date of this show was not okay for him after all?

Wow. Mao must feel honored participating in this show. She might feel a little bit nervous feeling the responsibility and how important this show is for Shen/Zhao and figure skating in China.;)
