well,Artristy invite her just to promote their cosmetics,to get attention for their goods.whether she can skate, know figure skating or not isn't important.unlike some ice show,ArOI nearly only depand on Artristy's support, not the boxoffice.Artristy needs return on investment.last year, they invited several TV stars from south korea and america too.

    I think it's acceptable

Figure skating needs all the help it can get when it comes to promotion so having someone like Katie Holmes endorsing it is amazing. When was the last time a Hollywood star was the name associated with a show? Kudos to the Chinese for making this happen.

Every time I have tried, my camera has been confiscated, and once they erased all my photos and once damaged the lens while at the drop off place. I will not be trying again.

Really. I don't know about Shanghai, but they seem pretty strict at Capital Gymnasium. It's not worth lugging my camera across the city - I'll just enjoy the show :)

It seems 50% of the people were not allowed cameras, but the guy next to me had a good one, huge lens and all!!

The show was great. Loved Jeff and Kurt. Signs for "Johnny Gaga Weir" and Plushenko.

Really enjoyed it. My photos turned out crap though

to tell the trueth,I think this year's show isn't as good as last year...maybe because it's on Tuesday……

but, when Shen and Zhao come back at last,Zhao kissed Shen's forehead, then they kneeled on the ice and kiss the ice together,I burst into tears, and can't stop……

Nan Song skated to Sarabande Suite.Sui/Han skated Flamenco and a new pro Painted On My Heart, omg it's totally different from their former programs, sexy and powerful LOL

S/Z was the highlight in last night for sure.Plushenko was so powerful too, beautiful jumps!Kurt Browning's really a great showman,he needs to skate forever!Audience loved his shirt with chinese character :)(oh I forgot to say Jason Mraz also hold a concert last night in beijing! LOL) Johnny's fighter is well accepted, but not that "rocked" compare to his "gaga" programs here. Pity most people don't know Edvin Marton at all, when I felt so excited to see Marton on the ice, some one even don't know why he comes……

some fans are really enthusiastic,I saw Johnny's,Plushenko's and Buttle's fans club organized very well, they wear the same "member shirt" with special design, carry big poster, banner and beautiful flowers,,each has about 10 to 20 people.

I'm sorry for you Angelskates.my friends and I all brought our cameras in,maybe you were just not luck...and I saw many people hold big SLR Camera.

Ah...These pictures also brought me to tears :wuzrobbed
I saw them live for the first time at ATSSpring last year. I was so impressed by their 'Turandot' performance and it was such a pleasure to just watch them live. They'll always be legends of Chinese FS history and one of the best pair teams of 21st century. Wish them the best in the future.

Kurt's been sending photos from Shenzhen (including pictures of Jeff and Joannie), and also has a little blog post in which he mentions Plushenko and Weir.

You can see all his photos/blogs together here: http://www.kurtfiles.com/forfun/kbfromaoi12.php

    or on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kurt-Browning/217099960482

BTW, would someone who saw the Beijing show and got a program be willing to send me a photo of the program listing, or tell me what to add/delete/rearrange from the Taipei listing? http://www.kurtfiles.com/events/artistryonice12runlist.php
