... here is a project for a good cause:
Bumping, since this is for a good cause.
Bumping again, as I'm a sucker for a great cause that allows me to use my knitting skills for good.
Thanks for the thread and the link Marge!!
I had some off-white fleece in my fabric stash; I have no idea why I bought it, I've never made anything out of fleece. I cut some stockings out of it and was pleasantly surprised at how easy the fleece was to work with. I have piles of ribbon (why do I buy these things?) so I livened up my stockings and am very pleased with the way they turned out.
They sound fantastic Marge. We've got a Crafting thread over at the LOTR MB I belong to and I shared the link w/all of them over there. There's at least three people who are going to make at least one stocking for this project, if not more if time allows.
I did 6 but I promised a dozen, so I must keep sewing.
I ran out of fleece and have switched to pale pink flannel with red polka dots. Which was left over from when I made myself some pajamas. Which are not very sexy but comfy and warm.
(I also made a pair that are pale blue with sheep on them. Because the fabric made me laugh.)
I'm surprised a sewing thread isn't drawing more attention on a figure skating board, of all places.
You are just jealous because you don't have a pair of pajamas with sheep on them.
Everyone gets penguin pajamas for Christmas in my house, lol.
