Buckylight Doing It's All Over Now...countryrock version
Casey would be more believable in this style of music he seems to love if he didn't smile quite so much.
Isn't it always sob story night? Not usually for Casey, but always for someone, especially the pimped ones.
Stones songs are not that hard to play on the guitar. He shouldn't have to keep looking at the fretboard.
That said, I kinda liked it.
Casey, It's All Over Now...He sounded very good. Was that him playing guitar, or the band?
Not only is he purtty he can sing good too. Oh shut up Simon.
Sorry, Randy, but no way is Casey anywhere close to Kenny Wayne Shepherd
Ellen making lesbian jokes
Kara says he's a rockstar with soul
Simon says he looks great, sang well, played the guitar well, but it was like an audition performance
He's kind of blues-rock guitarist. Casey would have to be very good to be as good as he is. But maybe Randy was just referring to that bluesy rock kind of vibe.
Ellen's critique was .
Enjoyed Casey's performance - l hate country, but love blues, and that worked for me better than last week.
Miley Cyrus singing and movie promo...Meh
Only one of the best blues guitarists/singers since Stevie Ray Vaughn.
I've accepted the fact that she'll be around forever and always. It wasn't easy.
I didn't look at the spoilers, but somehow I just knew that Lacey would savage sing "Ruby Tuesday."
This is atrocious - she sounds like Dolly Parton after sucking on a helium tank .
I've decided that I am not a fan of Lacey. Oh hey! A song I recognize.
Lacey doing an offkey version of Ruby Tuesday. Mick is clutching his chest somewhere in agony.
Laci sings Ruby Tuesday. I'm not a fan of her high voice or this interpretation with the cute flourishes.
I don't like her voice. Or her outfit.
As were most people with good hearing .
Randy you kind of held it together
Ellen; it was weird when during the slow part of the song you were moving, but during the faster portions you were sitting
Kara: it was 50/50 for me (I'd say more 5/95)
Simon: says she performs like an actress, nothing wrong with the vocals. He must have been deaf.
Nothing wrong with the vocals. Huh?
Ryan: Next, Andrew Garcia takes us back to 1969.
Me: To what, the Manson murders?
Was he in Ratt?
I'm known to dress somewhat.....interestingly, but I would pass on the one shoulder stripey top under beige fluffy bustier.
Did Randy Jackson mug Mister Rogers for that sweater?
Andrew .. gag. Gokey-Clone still using the gang hook. I guess he had to find something to match the dead wife hook of his idol.
Andrew's father is not a professional, but he plays one on TV
How do you cut Gimme Shelter to 2 minutes or less?
But, thank goodness they did. More would not have been better.
Too bad Andrew and Lacey can't both go home. That was unbelievably bad.
Ellen thinks it was his best performance yet! She must have had good drugs.
This is my favorite Stones song. Why did this tool have to sing it? Ooh, he just started. "sing" it, is what I meant.
sonofabitch, Gimme Shelter (a tossup between that and You Can't Always Get What You Want) is possibly my favorite Stones song.
Gokey-clone is completely ruining it . This is awful . Even worse, it will probably get slobbered on by the judges .
Andrew does not know how to sell Gimme Shelter. The vocal was loud and wrong.
Andrew Gokey is probably my least favorite one left.
"Gimme Shelter" might be the Rolling Stones very best song. You would not know that from watching this performance.
Halfway through the show and there's only been one standout for me (Didi). Is it too much to hope that they're saving the good stuff for the end?
Since he's done "singing" now ..... we see that you don't.
Gah. Ellen thought that was good?
well, they've killed my favorite. Is someone else going to mangle Sympathy for the Devil? Because I may have to leap out my window.
Simon genuinely hopes Andrew is around next week?! Simon ... I hope you are genuinely wrong!!!!!
Everyone who sang so far will get through. Who will be unbearable?
Separate names with a comma.
