Why didn't Miley try to talk Paige out of that trainwreck??? Some mentor she is!
Oh Paige, that was so bad it hurt my feelings. Tim is going to attempt a Queen song?
I think Hannah's eyeshadow is beautiful.
This is very high school musical.
Miley's as good a mentor as she is a singer
Has she given any good advice?
I'd love to mentor these kids for one week
After the disaster that was Paige, Tim Urban sounds great. .
This is a totally safe, vanilla version of CLTCL. Tim and his Justin Bieber hair will be safe.
I tuned in just in time to see Tim attempt to sing Queen.
Tim goes the obvious route on Crazy Little Thing Called Love. His voice is unbelievable ordinary.
MLP - I was thinking the same thing about the make-up
Tim's version reminds me of someone singing in the shower.
Oh, good grief. Every Jonas Brother fan will vote for this kid. ::shakes head sadly::
Tim: Oy, that was like a bad high school talent show.
Has Randy been taking honesty pills? He is (justifiably) brutal tonight.
If these judges aren't happy, they have only themselves to blame for putting this mediocre batch of hamsters through.
Ellen, is that you?
OUCH - they are brutal tonight.
Can we just announce Crystal the winner tonight and go onto skating? Because I think she is the only one who made a safe choice.
I'm not sure Ryan is helping them by having them explain their awful, awful choices.
It's nice to see the judges being mean though. They've been too nice this year. Simon must be noticing the complaints that he seems to be on autopilot.
Tim wasn't horrible, he just was amateur.
Aw poor Aaron - can't find another pretty princess to idolize?
This kid has a little bit of a crush on Miley? I would have thought he'd have a bit of a crush on her male co-star, Liam Hemsworth, in her upcoming film.
Considering he has laryngitis and tonsillitis, that was a pretty good effort from him.
Aaron makes me long for the days of Archuleta, which is not something I thought would ever happen.
Maybe he just doesn't want to admit to it on National TV?
ETA: I think this is the first time I've even slightly enjoyed Aaron.
Aaron struggles through I Don't Want to Miss A Thing (no jokes).
The only argument here is who is giving the worst performance this week.
I don't know if it's the song choices, Ellen's lack of judging prowess or what, but to date, this has been the most mediocre bunch they've had. Sorry.
Randy's Honesty Pills wore off.
I thought that was a boring mess.
Best song choice of the night? Seriously Kara? Seriously?!
Well, he was better than the previous two.
And that's saying a lot! LOL
My cat in heat sounds better than the previous two.
I think I'm officially into girlcrush territory when it comes to her.
I would pay to go hear Crystal and Siohban sing.
Crystal once again blows everyone away with Bobby McGee. I'm not even sure she was at her best. She's not going to be "allowed" to do this every week.
Bowersox absolutely just schooled the other singers
We just crowned tonight's winner. But I still don't connect with her
Ellen, I think she's bored, which is not good either.
Loved that from Crystal. Everyone else has felt amateurish, but that performance was anything but amateurish.
Crystal looks like she's ridden a magic carpet a few times.
Crystal is not a concert singer/entertainer. She's a low key singer who makes you stop what you're doing and listen. She would be awesome in a small intimate venue or as a recording star.
I like Aaron better if for no reason than Archuleta just seemed so pre-packaged.
She'd be awesome in a bluesy club after a splif or two.
Big Mike doing my favorite Percy Sledge song.
I see Crystal in a coffee shop or small club - down on the floor with other artistes
Big Mike singing one of my favorite songs.
True story - when my oldest was in preschool the teacher asked the kids to sing a favorite song. So son sang "when a man loves a woman" Cracked the teachers up.
