I'm watching for the first time all season and that woman who walked out with Randy and Steven can't possibly be the prettiest woman in America.

Oh good, we get to hear the singers that everyone voted they don't want to hear.

I wish we weren't anyway. It was awful. I'm interested to see what she does on Dancing With the Stars next week.

No, Steven, that did not make me rethink my votes, because I never voted for any of them.

This is not adding a rock vibe to the song.

For Peter: Scotty doing "Swingin'" in a not very interesting way.

Swinging! That was Micah's favorite song when he was little. He and his dog would sit in the porch swing and he'd sing at the top of his lungs.

Oooh, the judges are being critical (although they are being really nice about it :p).

James is doing Muse. Potential :respec:

James is going to spring some Muse on us! I hope it's Supermassive Black Hole. I love that song.

Shocked to see the judges actually give some criticism and some critiques, even Steven Tyler!

I thought Scotty sounded just fine but it was really boring and way too predictable.

there is nothing fun or funny about scotty

James gets the huge production, again. Why isn't anyone else taking advantage of this? I wonder if James is asking for all of this or if he is being offered and having it suggested to him...which would reek of favoritism but that never happens on this show, right?

That being said, this is quite boring and he is absolutely screaming...

Maybe that would work better in an arena...

James knows how to put on a show. :respec:

I like it when he sings in a lower register; his voice is much richer.

Did someone say "modern arrangement?" This is incredibly 80's (not that that's a bad thing.)

    Shut up, Jennifer.

That was great. Not a fan of the screams, but his lower register is superb.

The performance was sort of mysterious and a bit entrancing!

    OMG Haley is singing Adele!?!?

    I die, I die!!!

This could be the best thing ever or the worst thing ever.

My favorites off the album are:

    Don't you Remember
    Someone Like You
    One and Only
    Set Fire to the Rain

I don't ever see her doing Set Fire...but the other three, possibly...just depends if she wants to do a ballad. The only upbeat I could imagine is the single Rollin in the Deep.

I think that is a quote from Dolly Parton. Or Dolly said something similar.

Again I really really enjoyed James.

    Opening number :yikes:

Scotty was bland, but sounded fine overall. I was just really shocked that the judges actually gave some criticisms.

James was alright... it would have been way better if he'd kept the screaming to a minimum. But I can't help but think that he's a poor man's Adam Lambert :shuffle: I think that every time I see him perform.

Does Stefano think he is going to get votes by saying he doesn't get along with one of the girls?

Doing Rollin in the Deep. I think she could have slayed one of the ballads and really made a moment for herself.
