Someone should've done "I Touch Myself" by the Divinyls.
The BeeGees were one hit wonders? Are you fecking kidding me. This show is a total joke.
Someone doesn't know what one-hit wonder means. Loved Keith's comments.
Wait, I agree with Keith that we need more current songs. But good heavens, MacArthur Park is a thousand times worse than Emotion.
I hate to say it, but I'm agreeing with Jimmy.
If that is Candace with cold...
samantha sang sang that song not the bee gees although they backed her up i think, it sounds a lot like them in the chorus
I'm afraid for Kree.
The thing about one hit wonders from the last 8 years; most of the songs are hip hip, techno or dance pop.
I do not want to hear anyone sing "Barbie Girl".
I love "Barbie Girl."
I am not understanding this game of one hit wonder. The song should not be considered a one hit wonder if it was a hit for another group/band/performer.
I do like that song, it's very campy. But I can't see it being song on serious singing competition show.
I totally agree.
can we have a definition of one-hit wonders? I might define it by some of these
I wish Kree would have chosen a country song to sing.
aqua also had a minor hit with "back from mars" that i think could be slowed down a touch and work in this format
Is Angie going to sing the Final Countdown by Europe. Or maybe Round and Round by Ratt.
So Nicki thinks she's going home (shocker).
can we send Nikki home instead?
Angie could do "What if God".
Yes, please! I can't believe I liked at her at the start of the season. Her blatant bias is so irritating. Simon was biased as well, but at least it was humorous when coming from him.
I can't get over how defensive the judges were when Jimmy disagreed with them.
And now for the most current song: "Cry Me A River". Isn't this song from the 50's?
Good gravy, has anyone sung a song tonight that you would hear on the radio?
Angie does not have the voice/passion to sing this song.
Candace - emotions.
This is a torch song, not a cotton candy so about teenage love lost.
It was a little Beyonceish. What a boring night.
Going through that list, Kree could have killed "Sunny Came Home."
Not surprisingly, they loved Angie.
I thought Angie was the weakest of all 4.
Yep, I don't know what the judges are watching. Candice and Kree all the way for me, although I liked Angie's first song. And singing Adele with Kree just highlights all of Amber's flaws.
ETA: the drums win the night.
