Because she's Frau Muller. She's not happy unless Katerina Witt is on the marquee also .
I didn't quote the whole press release because FSU looks down on copying entire articles, etc. The second paragraph of this press release listed everyone in the cast (except for Ashley it seems).
Here it is:
Thanks for the clarification, HW. That sounds better. But we're still going to get a Mega-Fluff (TM), I bet.
Interesting that there is no mention of Ashley Wagner in the release. Although I suspect NBC won't be able to resist showing her because she is a "future" ladies skater, she should be chacked in favor of the other skaters. I just hope that we get at least one skate each from the pairs and dance, Lambiel, and Weir. (I actually would not mind if they chacked V/M, because their dances were quite dull live, but I cannot imagine they woudl chack the reigning gold medalists.) My biggest concern is that even the skaters listed are not guaranteed to have their individual routines shown; they might be mentioend since they are in the opening and closing numbers. (Ashley was not in the opening number.)
Count your blessings. At least you get to see skating.
Lucky me. Instead of All That Skate, we get Jane and the Dragon, Wild About Animals, and Secrets of (our city) Chefs. Our wonderful redneck NBC affiliate strikes again.
My channel will be playing equestrian
anybody know some online stream to the show?
My NBC station is showing Babar the Elephant.
Starting off with Kim/Kwan fluff.
Visit Seoul commercial with Yu-Na
Tanith Belbin/Ben Agosto next
OMG, this is so cheesy but I like it
Tanith and Ben "If it kills me"
I'm watching NBC in Canada...now, Tanith and Ben!
- literally. I'm going to miss Tanith's histrionics. I mean this in the most sincere way possible.
Since they skipped it, I'm guessing we will be getting Johnny's second number which was Poker Face. Too bad, his Heartbroken number is really beautiful and has never been on tv whereas Poker Face has several times.
I love this exhibition from Tanith and Ben. It is cheesy but I love that they follow the concept through from start to finish and that they aren't just wandering around. Which sometimes happens.
What is going on with Patrick's jacket? Is Chan using take 5 this season? Or did he just not think we'd heard it yet?
The jacket is all sorts of frong.
The skating is quite good, though, overused music and all.
This guy can skate!
There is still a chance - he will skate it today in Ohio and that show will be broadcasted too.
DirectTV for me shows this on from 1:30 - 3:00 but as of 1:50 pm there is still a movie on although it looks to nearly be over. Maybe something ran over and they are just behind. I need my Kween fix!
There would be a lot more skating if NBC didn't find it necessary to show a commercial after each performance. (wishing for the olden days of skating on Wide World of Sports)
More Yu-Na/Michelle fluff.
I hope they show Savchenk/Szolkowy, but I doubt they will.
I'm glad they showed Patrick's Take Five. That's a great program and like him or not, his skating skills are gorgeous.
They better not chack Lambiel's Let the Good Times Roll. If only one of his programs will get shown, I hope it's LTGTR.
Just tuning in. Sad to know that all the World Cup skiing will be shown on Universal. . . which isn't available in my area. . .
Nice to see Yu-Na's Meditation dress (and program) in HD. Lovely. Except for the pop.
I thought Yu-Na's program was a bit
I always prefer her competitive programs to her exhibitions.
So are we going to say that he should be penised for that jacket?
(old reference, I know.)
They are listed on the promo on our guide info, and some others are not--so maybe that means they will.
Yuna's meditation dress is so DOWDY! What were they thinking? Please, at least ditch the sleeves.
Love Tanith & Ben, but I would've rather gotten to see their 2nd program.
Yu-Na's 'Meditation' is gorgeous.
I have great admiration for anyone who can spin in both directions. Just one more reason to respect Kwan. (although kind of a dull program, but let's face it, Kwan is in fact in grad school.)
