That's quite a list!!
When did the doping thing happen with Vychtoseva/Mosicki? Was there a thread here about that?
You can take this one off the list. She broke her femur and was going to be heading back to Japan. Have heard he has decided not to skate any more.
I believe that Natalia Kaliszek/Michal Kaliszek, Anastasia Levshina/Jakub Tyc and Magdalena Jaskolka/Piotr Snopek are all still skating for Poland (both Junior-eligible).
I think I have created a thread but not sure.
It was 2010 Three Nationals. He smoked weed some time before and it came up on his doping test. Unbelievably stupid.
He was suspended for some time and then decided to quit skating and took up a coaching position at the Euro 6 Warsaw club. But recently I heard he has decided to come back into training - his suspension was reduced to encourage him.
I'll try to gather various kinds of info like that in a Polish skating news thread soon.
says: Beknazarova / Verbilo split, he retires.
Can anyone confirm whether or not Caitlin Mallory/Kristjan Rand (EST) have split or retired?
I never felt he was good enough for her anyway, but what is she going to do now?
Morgan retired because she has to have a complete hip replacement. Elliot isn't ill any more. He graduated college and became a computer scientist. They are living together in Boston. I think she plans on coaching or going to school but I am not sure.
Really? That´s sad.
Anastasia Levshina/Jakub Tyc POL have now split and he's skating with a new, young Polish partner.
Kamila Hajkova and David Vincour (CZE, Ice Dance olympians) announced year off from skating.
But, will we ever see them again?
Do you have any info of what might be the reason of their decision to take a year off? Hopefully it's not another injury.
At least you have Kubova/Kiselev. I imagine they will prepare a senior FD in addition to the Junior one now.
French forum says Beknazarova had a positive try last month with Richaud.
I'm now torn between COOL! and Oh my god, poor girl has no idea what she's getting into.
No, shortage of money and David´s nearly certain he´s wanting to live a life after skating. That´s why I doubt their comeback.
Nope, no sense for them, they are staying juniors being clear number one junior ID and Top 10 JW possibility now. Seniors are their goal from 11/12 season. Having two different short dances making no sense for them, too.
Did she have good safety insurance?
Thanks for the info on Kubova/Kiselev.
So you have no Senior dance team now in Czech Republic?
Elizabeth Harb/Patryk Szalasny have split (she has gone to medical school) and he has teamed up with Kaitlyn Scholtz.
Just the team that went to worlds this year and were in the top 10 at junior worlds last year
After their 16 place at worlds this year you would think they would have got a GP invite. Hopefully they'll get a sub spot.
Hahaha, how could I have forgotten about them.
I really like them too.
Yes, I am definitely hoping they get a GP spot. They deserve it!
We do, Lucie and Matej!
It´s in "the working"
They should have got an assignment initially instead of the Hungarian team. No disrespect to them but Mysliveckova/Novak have already established themselves on the international scene and I just can't understand how they could have been omitted the first time round.
Hopefully one of Zaretskis' spots is going to go to them.
Seems not, there is a politic of giving 2nd assignments first and then the substitutes, but if the organizing fed has some interests in inviting others from Top 75 they should argue even against GP Heads unwritten rules.
Mysliveckova/Novak got a GP assignment today
That's great to see!
Honestly those GP rules need an overhaul.
