Did anyone watch True Blood? I found myself cringing more than normal. That's normal for this show but it seemed to be a little excessive last night. Either they are finding a way to make it cornier or I am getting tired of it. I also felt that this episode could have just as easily served as the season finale. Other than introducing Warlow, it didn't do much at all. We are no further along than we were at the end of last season. They just wanted to end it with Billith coming up out of that pool of blood, I guess. This episode truly felt like an extension of last season's finale and I wouldn't be surprised at all to find out that a majority of it was filmed last year.

I watched. Bill went from being a total lunatic to being calm very fast.

Andy's baby fairies could be fun this season. :D

The problem is that in the span of one episode the baby fairies went from babies to toddlers so I suspect they will not be baby fairies for long. More like teenage fairies who are going to give him hell. Lol

Graceland is doing well for a cable show I suppose. Haven't watched it since the premier.

I plan to give Crossing Lines a look. The promos have been appealing to me and I like Donald Sutherland as an actor.

By the way - how is your recovery progressing AliasJohnDoe? Hope all is well.

Crossing Lines looks like yet another "police procedural with a twist" ... but I love Sutherland so I'll give it a try. There should be some nice location shots too.

And I'll definitely tune into Under the Dome, but I'm not getting my hopes up too high. King's works fail on screen more often than they succeed.

I'm back to running 5 miles again in the morning. Everything is basically back to working normal except for the pinky and ring finger on my right hand. If I straighten them out, they keep curling back in toward my hand. At least I can use a mouse with my right hand now and I'm getting use to typing without using those 2 fingers. So I can be thankful.

I think the worst part of the accident will always be losing my beagle Kween. She ran with me every morning and died instantly when we were hit. She was born on 9/11/2001 and just felt special to me. She is irreplaceable.

I am also excited to see Under the Dome but I have bad vibes about this. I think it will be a Terra Nova or The River all over again. One and done. :( Does anyone know why it is a summer series? No faith in it? Last minute replacement? I never expect the big networks to put up their best stuff in the summer.

So people who were going to watch, how did you like Crossing Lines? I missed it, so is it worth finding it online? I love William Fitchner so that was my draw to watch, but completely forgot it started tonight. :(

It's pretty much "Criminal Minds" goes to Europe. I will probably watch most of the time. The audio could use some work - some of the dialogue is muddy.

It's based on Stephen King's book which is a BIG one (shocking for Stephen King, right?) that has a beginning and end and instead of condensing it into a movie, it was felt it needed longer to cover most of the book instead of just certain storylines. It's an epic tale, so it needed to be longer. But because of the definitive ending (well, I'm assuming there's a definitive ending), it wouldn't have made for a regular TV series that could have carried on from year to year. As for why it didn't air in the fall or spring season, I assume they use those spots for their regular shows and/or to introduce series that will (hopefully) continue from year to year. So summer is for special event limited series like this. And reality TV. :D I certainly hope it's not because they felt it was of poor quality, so they dumped it onto their summer schedule. They are advertising it quite a bit, so I'm hopeful that mean it will be good. We'll soon find out! :)

What did you all think of Under the Dome? I thought it was interesting and I will definitely keep tuning in to find out where this all goes. There were more than a few cheesy moments and awkwardly delivered lines (what about the weird father/son hug?) but that seems par for the course with made for TV movies/series with Stephen King adaptations. It kind of brought back a nostalgic feel, to be honest. Lots of familiar faces in this. I saw people from True Blood, Breaking Bad, Bates Motel, Lost and others whom I recognize but can't place yet.
