Thanks all. Feels good to be back. Still having problems with my right arm. One more operation on my right arm/hand and physical therapy for it and it should be good as new. Can't wait since I'm really clumsy doing most things left handed, especially typing(takes forever to finish a post).

Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers. :)

Welcome back!! So glad to hear you're on the mend, if not quite there yet.

This is a Canadian series that's been running here on CTV for a few months. I quite like it. It's like a standard police procedural in many ways, but the premise is that you know the who right from the very first scene, but the whole episode is a. the cops figuring out who and b. the audience (and the cops) figuring out the why. Hence the title. My main quibble with it is that, while it's filmed in Vancouver, it's supposed to be set in Vancouver too but there are so many non-Vancouver (and non-Canadian) elements to it that's hard to imagine they weren't thinking of export to the US from the very beginning. But that's a minor criticism that most viewers won't share, and I still like it.

I mentioned this one in the PBS thread. I really love this series, and it's a great illustration of the difference between the British and American (and Canadian) criminal justice systems. But more importantly it's great characters and great acting.

There is a Bates Motel marathon on right now so I caught a bit of it. I have to say that this is the most disturbing show I have ever seen. Is everyone on this show a psychotic murderer?! :yikes:

I'm looking forward to the return of True Blood, Dexter, Falling Skies, Teen Wolf, Continuum and Big Brother. I always say I'm not gonna get the LIVE FEEDS for "Big Brother" again....but I always do.

"Unforgettable" is finally returning for a second season after being canceled by CBS for a brief time. :cheer:

Of the New Shows, I always give SYFY shows a chance(Love "Defiance", "Continuum", "Being Human"(American version) and "Warehouse 13"). "Sinbad" and "Primeval" may have a hard time on Saturday nights though.

"Under The Dome" looks really good. Thanks for the heads-up on the book Genevieve.

I am upset that Breaking Bad isn't coming on until August 11th! I thought it was going to be a summer show but with that late of a date it is practically getting a fall run. I guess because it is a half season that it will be wrapping up by the time the other fall shows are premiering but still, I looked forward to seeing it sooner than that!

That being said, I am looking forward to:

    Big Brother
    Breaking Bad (last season)
    Dexter (last season)
    True Blood

I watched the Goodwin Games last night and was not impressed. And Siberia sounds interesting. :respec: Anyone ever heard of something called Foyle's War?! Have been watching this on Netflix and love it!

    Welcome back!!! :cheer2: :respec: :cheer: :40beers: :D

So CBS will air a summer mini-series, "Under The Dome" on Mondays at 10pm, beginning June 24th. Then, a week later, NBC will air a summer mini-series, "Siberia" on July 1st...on the exact same day and time. Honestly, have the people who run television networks not received the memo about counter-programming. Morons.

I'm ready for the return of American Ninja Warrior (for the competition, not just the wondrous muscley eye-candy!). Also want to check out Whodunnit, Get Out Alive, Perfect Score, The Hunt, Camp, The Winner Is... and Hollywood Game Night. So much for my plan to watch movies instead of new TV shows this summer.

Watched "Motive" last night. So So. Not sure I can warm to the characters. As for the premise, when they show what happened before the suspects are questioned, the questioning and the responses seem a bit dumb.

Welcome back John Doe - heal well.

Save Me looks absolutely awful. I honestly can't believe that Anne Heche would ever be cast to lead a comedy on a major network. She has made way too bad of a name for herself.

Men in Trees was good and aired after all her strange behavior. Since then she has been pretty low key. I like her :shuffle:

Hang in there for a bit. I was on the fence until about episode 3, then started to enjoy it. I quite like the relationship between Flynn and Vega.

I find Heche quite likeable as well. Remember, people love a good comeback story (Robert Downey Jr., anyone)? Maybe her history played a part in why her show is airing over the summer though (and in back-to-back blocks to boot). I have high hopes for Save Me though. Not sure if it will be more funny or interesting though. A dramedy, maybe?

I loved Men In Trees. And she was the best Marley/Victoria on Another World. Anne Heche would be fantastic on Revenge.
