Rake looks like it could be fun. And there's nothing else I'm watching in that timeslot, so I'll definitely give it a go.

Other than that, the only item of interest is Sherlock! Sherlock! Sherlock!

I'll probably check out "Looking" on HBO.

Tonight on Lifetime it's "Flowers In The Attic" and next week "Lizzie Borden Took An Axe".

Sorry to fans of "Sawyer" but after giving Intelligence another try I have decided to dump it. The show is just awful. All I heard during nearly the full hour is the main character screaming: MY WIFE MY WIFE MY WIFE!!!!! Never mind there are terrorists on the loose with an undetectable bomb that already killed dozens... MY WIFE MY WIFE MY WIFE!!!!!!

My aunt really likes Josh Holloway, but even she's given up on this series. :p

Not enough shots of the dimples to overcome the concept and the script.

I am going to check out Looking on HBO as well. Now is a good time for cable TV. Girls is back on, hopefully Looking becomes a favorite and soon enough Game of Thrones will be back!

This was my first time watching "Intelligence" so I wasn't already tired of the wife thing. I liked the first half of the show. If that had been it, I would have said I liked it. Maybe now they are done with the wife thing?

    I like the supporting cast.

Anyone watching The Following? I won't give anything away, but ... creepy!!

And the dude who is playing Luke (I think his name is Luke?). Oh you'll figure it out when I say if they were ever going to make a biographical movie about Tom Cruise's life and career, this dude could totally play him! He looks just like a young Tom Cruise (I used to love Tom Cruise before he got all righteous). He even smiles and makes that little laugh and moves like a young Tom Cruise (think Risky Business). Now THAT is creepy too.

"True Detectives" "Shameless" "Girls" "Looking" (Not on broadcast TV though)...Until "The Walking Dead" returns February 9th (The prison storyline is done!!! :cheer: ).

I'm slowly catching up on "Downton Abbey" and "Sherlock" on Netflix and HuluPlus. I don't like to jump into the middle of a series. I have to watch from the beginning with every episode in order.

The premiere of "Looking" was good. But I'm reserving judgement just to see if it becomes too stereotypical. Gay stereotypes get me annoyed.

With the right actor/actress, I would love to see Peter Pan. It has to be someone who can sing as well as fly. I loved Mary Martin. Flying live will be quite a challenge.

At first I watched it only to be mesmerized by Tom Mison's beauty and his soothing British accent, not really paying attention to the dialogue, as I didn't want to invest any more time in watching a new show. But now, I think I'm hooked. Man, Tom Mison has got to be one of the most beautiful man I've ever seen. And even though I usually prefer clean shaven men, Tom looks better with long hair and the beard. But he still looks beautiful clean shaven. I've seen pics of him from various films, and he can look very different in each one, but still beautiful. He's like a chameleon.

The season finale was well done. Glad they are keeping it at 13 episodes a season instead of trying to drag it out to 22. Some series work better that way.

I'm interested in "Emerald City" if they do it right. NBC was probably looking for something similar to ABC's "Once Upon A Time"

Yes, but it's a bit different when you know that millions are watching, rather than hundreds. If someone makes a mistake it's a much bigger deal.

Thanks AliasJohnDoe - I'm always anxious for Wed ratings since I love Nashville and want the show to keep going :) As usual, the overnights don't look great, and then I found this nugget on the same site:

This makes a lot of sense to me - I love the show, but often DVR it anyway because I don't want to stay up until 11 on a weekday. Looks like I'm not the only one :)
