ABC has cancelled Happy Endings, but The USA Network has expressed interest in picking it up.
Here's an updated renew/cancel list as of May 10.
"Touch" wasn't renewed.
However, I found this interesting:
Looks like you're having the same computer glitch issue I was having last night...can't get a connection & then get multiple posts. And this morning page 3 wasn't even showing up on the menu, but it was viewable on the printable version of the thread...WEIRD!
dardar1125, I've had this problem from time to time when posting.
It only seems to happen on FSU!
Body of Proof is cancelled? I love this show.. NO!!!!!
ABC has decided to pick up the following shows:
MARVEL’S AGENTS OF SHIELD
This one is from Joss Whedon. Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films. He brings together a small group of agents to investigate unusual things.
Christian Slater is in this one. He and his brother are partners in a detective agency that uses psychological manipulation to solve client issues. Oh, joy.
In Astoria, Queens, a group of 7 gas station employees have been going in together on a lotto pool. Each has problems money could perhaps solve.
A lawyer show involving infidelity
The long ago dead from Arcadia, MO start to return
A female Texas Ranger
ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND
In Victorian England, a reworking of Alice in Wonderland
SUPER FUN NIGHT
A group of women have gotten together every Friday evening for a fun night, until one woman's life starts to get in the way, and she decides to try to switch things up.
BACK IN THE GAME
A former softball player is pulled back into the game when her son and his friends fail to make their local little league team, and they decide to form their own team of misfits
A former party girl marries a man who has been married twice before.
Set in the 1980s, described as "a loving family like any other, just with a lot more yelling."
This one, I actually think sounds kind of funny. Poor Tom hasn't been out to a bar in over 10 years. He gets dumped by his girlfriend, and his friends bring him to an upscale Manhattan bar. The first woman he meets is so harsh, he bursts out crying, and things only get worse from there, the poor dear.
ABC has cancelled, as mentioned, “Happy Endings,” “Body of Proof” and one not yet mentioned, “Malibu Country.” They have renewed “Suburgatory,” “The Middle," “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Castle,” “Scandal,” “Revenge” and “Once Upon A Time.”
Only Agents of Sheild and Mind Games sound interesting to me.
CBS has now decided *not* to pick up Beverly Hills Cop. The show will be shopped to other venues. Eddie Murphy is in this show, reprising his original role. Apparently, there was originally a bidding war over this show, which CBS won, so I'll be it will be picked up elsewhere.
That sounds awful for Murphy and the show. Perhaps Netflix?!
It has been happening since the "Alien cover up" thread! Coincidence? I think not!
I am assuming that the Wonderland show on ABC is a spin off from Once Upon a Time? It is even in the title. Is this the one with PeeWee Herman being cast?
I am liking Bones a lot, but hated the season finale.
Suddenly all I can hear is The X-Files eerie theme music!
(^closest I could get to Mulder & Scully^)
The treatment I read didn't mention it being a spinoff of anything. It is written and executive produced by Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz (“Once Upon A Time”, though. There was no mention of PeeWee Herman in the cast list.
Wonderland is kind of a spinoff but it's really a standalone series designed to bridge the fall and spring halves of OUAT next season. I think it's only scheduled to be 13 episodes. I'm excited about it!
Stoked to finally hear that OUAT, Revenge, Nashville, Grey's Anatomy, and Scandal were all officially renewed!
Watching the first episode of Recyify and like it. However I am not certain what is the point of the series. Does it lead up to whether or not Daniel did the crime he was accused off?
Ok so I have watched the first four episodes of Rectify on Netflix and realized the point of the show is not necessarily if he did it or not but how he deals with being part of the wider world again. And how the community deals with him. Loving this show so far and believe it has been renewed for a second 10 episode season.
Me too. Could they make Pelante any more of a caricature? Ugh, ugh, ugh.
I'm not sad that The New Normal was canceled; the show was rife with forced repartee and NeNe Leakes got on my nerves with her non-acting self.
The entire time I was screaming "JUST WRITE IT DOWN BOOTH YOU MORON"
The first promo for S.H.I.E.L.D. **
**Offically "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", but how long do you think that's going to last?
btw "Don't touch Lola"
Agent Colson was snuffed out during The Avengers. So how are they going to explain why he is still alive? It does look good but expensive and expensive shows don't last long.
I remember the actor playing Colson himself was surprised at this, for the very reason you mentioned. I don't remember if he mentioned how they get around the issue, but it's sci fi, so... :shrugs: why not?
Will miss her in many ways, but I'm sure it's time.
There are all kinds of theroies out there. The two big ones are the life decoy model, which was mentioned in the Avengers (and I think is in the comics), and also that we aren't really sure he died (even though it certainly looked like it), we only know that Nick Fury said so, and Nick Fury has been known to lie.
As for the budget, if anyone can make something out of a miniscule budget, it's Joss Whedon - he's known for that.
After RED WIDOW, the new ABC show BETRAYAL is another TV show imported from the Netherlands *proud*

Trailer for Dracula:
Thank Goodness!! One of the very few shows that's Can't Miss TV for me. I do understand though why CBS took so long w/the announcement though, as most of the contracts w/the cast *and* those running the show were up this year, but this is very good news indeed. Thanks to the both of you, as it was posted earlier in the thread, but as anything quoted off of Twitter disappears when I quote the post it's in...
So thanks to the both of you for the great CM news!!
Forgot to say this....It's a good TV pickup first show year for LOTR Alum. I get Karl Urban on my TV every week *and* Sean Bean gets a show where he's *not* killed off (yet)? Very much liking this news!!!
YAY! They moved Chicago Fire off of Wednesday nights (yay Tuesday!) and are giving it The Voice as a lead in!! Hope that brings in more viewers next season. This has become one of my favorite new shows and I'm so happy that NBC is giving it such a good slot. Now I'm just hoping that ABC doesn't move Nashville to Tuesday nights next season.....LOL
Completely random, but I had to laugh that JRM's alias in Dracula is Grayson, which is also the surname of the villains in ABC's Revenge (played by JRM's former Tudors co-star Henry Czerny)
