I haven't watched Revolution since midway last season so I had no idea what was going on but did this show jump the shark when what's his name was resurrected from the dead or has it been ridiculous for a long time?

I think that's so obvious, it won't be true. Who didn't think so 5 minutes in. If it is, that's a major eyeroll.

Anyone else watch The Michael J. Fox show? There'd been so much buzz I went in thinking it would be fab ... but it fell flat for me. Fox has bags of charm, enough to sustain the show on his own, and there was some not bad stuff from the supporting characters, but it just seemed to be trying too hard for me. I know a lot of the details are based on Fox's own experiences with Parkinsons, but while that might make for a good book it doesn't necessarily translate well to entertaining TV. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't the home-run I was expecting.

LOL, Mistresses is back? I will watch next summer but I basically hated everything about what I thought was the series finale.

Didn't staff on the show get very sick from Hoarder houses?

Revolution should be my type of show but I disliked the first episode and never bothered watching afterwards. However I think the real death of the show was that enormous three months ( or was it four months?! ) break because to my mind it was still fairly popular up until then.

Another comic universe spinoff announced: Detective Gordon of Gotham will be getting his own (live action) TV series.

I can't say this one fills me with excitement. No one can possibly play Gordon to my satisfaction after Gary Oldman, and Gotham without Batman is just another city. But they may surprise me yet.

I'd already decided to pass on The Crazy Ones. A little Robin Williams goes a long way. Opted to watch Glee (love the Beatles) and record Michael J Fox. Are you telling me I shouldn't bother to watch it?

Sadly, Kelly Clarkson was far and away the best part of Crazy Ones. I won't bother with a 2nd look.

I'm happy to read this! I missed it so will look for it online but all the reviews said she would steal the show. Can she get an Emmy nomination out of this?!

Kelly was very good and very funny. (And there was an outtake where Williams cracked her up, which was HILARIOUS.) For me the jury's still out on the show. My initial impression was, you can have Robin Williams, or you can have an entire cast full of hyperactive fast-talkers doing quirky things, but it's probably not a good idea to try to have both at once.

I'll probably watch at least another episode or two and see if it improves. There's some potential there, I think, but we'll see . . .

A small dose of Robin Williams is enough.

Me either. I did think that James Wolk did an okay job with what little he was allowed to do. Sarah Michelle Gellar was given the TOTALLY thankless job of being the straight man to Robin Williams. What a horrible job to be the straight man when the funny person....isn't.

They had two episodes back to back last night, I watched this show during the commercial breaks of The Crazy Ones. For some reason I chose to watch the second episode but just couldn't make my way through it. I had noticed a Joan Baez documentary on The Knowledge Network while flipping channels so I watched that instead. It was much funnier! :p

I don't think you understand. It wasn't that Kelly was brilliant. (She was good, but no way Emmy material.) It was that the show was bad. I like Robin Williams, but even he wasn't as good as his usual self. The show didn't work for me at all. It just wasn't that funny.

I watched an episode of the Michael J. Fox show. Didn't like that one either.

It's sad that two comedy icons are in two crap shows.

My sister called, so I missed the Big Bang Theory season premiere. Now that's a funny show.

Just spotted that Stephen Merchant has a new comedy, Hello Ladies, starting on HBO on Sunday. I don't get HBO so would appreciate hearing whether it's any good and whether I should try to find it some other way.

I think Merchant is hilarious ... but in his best stuff has always had a good foil/partner for his comedy to work. So it will be interesting to see him as a central solo character.
