actually i thought streep was awesome in julia, dont recast that one
Quit talking about God's, I mean, Meryl Streep's child!! Meryl Streep does NOTHING wrong and I mean NOTHING. Her children are PERFECT just like she is and will one day save the World, just like Streep has done. I will not listen to any of this non sense!!!!
maybe she has another one at home that looks less like an angry bird, i will support that one
Julia voids! I loved that movie, and the section in Hellman's book was equally moving. Even if it's all a lie, as many critics maintain.
to be fair, Gummer was amazing at playing someone really annoying in TGW
Really enjoyed Nashville again last night - the characters, writing, storylines and the music were great. I was rather upset when Revenge moved to Sunday nights, and now I have a new show to get me through the week, yay!
Have there been any early-season cancellations?
Even this soon, there are usually a few.
Probably Mob Doctor.
Where is AliasJohnDoe? He gave us great updates on ratings and cancellation status all season last year - I miss those!
Made in Jersey has been cancelled
Yeah! He needs to come back and continue his good work. LOL
Animal Practice is gone.
Buzz - I'm thinking that they may quietly let Mob Doctor go after the MLB playoffs. Perhaps burn off what they have already filmed.
I'm Back!!! Was busy for a few months. Can start doing ratings again if you like.
TV Ratings for Wednesday 10/17/2012:
"American Horror Story: Asylum" beats broadcast channels in 18-49 demo at 10pm:
"Animal Practice" canceled by NBC. Will be replaced by "Whitney" Nov. 14th:
for AliasJohnDoe! Looks like Nashville is off to an OK start - once baseball is over it could go up, especially if buzz is good. Interested to see how Revenge is doing in its new timeslot come Sunday.
The Five Most Shocking Salary Revelations About Televisions Highest-Paid Actors

I can't believe AHS has such high ratings. I must be the only chicken left in America. I get scared out of my mind just reading about it.
Welcome back AliasJohnDoe!!! Thanks for the links.
I adore Connie Britton SO much but even I wouldn't go near AHS when she was on it last year. The TV viewing choices of most people lately are starting to make me wonder about their sanity and decision making skills.
Loved Nashville last night too and it's starting to settle down and give us more details about the cast which I like a lot. I LOVED that duet between Rayna and Deacon. Holy chemistry Batman! (BTW-I still cannot believe that's Chip Esten from Whose Line Is It Anyway....he looks and sounds SO different!)
I'm also enjoying Chicago Fire for the most part so one of these shows needs to move soon because my Wednesday night recording process can't handle it if I'm not home at any point this season. I can only record one of them!
Welcome back AliasJohnDoe!!!
You're definitely not the only chicken left. There's no way I will ever watch AHS.
I am surprised that American Horror Story gets less than 2 million viewers. That makes you realize how insane it is that The Walking Dead pulled in over 10 million! (at least that is what I think I read) I liked AHS last night and am still very excited about the upcoming season but I hope they leave the alien thing alone. I never have cared for alien stories all that much, I have a hard time suspending my disbelief for those stories even though I do believe life exists elsewhere in the Universe. I just don't believe they visit us and cause so much trouble while never being caught, filmed or photographed. As usual, Ryan Murphy makes a ton of social commentary and I agree with all of it. He puts things in subtly while being very up front at the same time. I love it.
Aw man! I accidentally watched it tonight (I'm procrastinating) and I actually enjoyed it. Dammit! I mean, I'm not horribly upset, but still. I should've looked at the news first.
I need to catch up on Nashville. I watched the first half of the premiere and really liked it, but couldn't stay awake.
I really like Call the Midwife on PBS
Cable Ratings for Wednesday 10/17/2012:
oh darn, I forgot that Nashville was on last night, not sure when I will be able to catch up.
Animal Practice sounded dumb but I can't believe it's worse than the inexecrable Whitney
Broadcast TV Ratings for Thursday 10/18/2012:
For those who have Cinemax, new series "Hunted" premieres tonight at 10pm (Friday 10/19/2012):
"Private Practice" canceled by ABC:
