There are competition threads with entries links posted in Kiss and Cry for Mladost Trophy (March 22-24 in Zagreb), Triglav Trophy, and Gardena Spring Trophy (Rippon and Mroz were added to Gardena by USFS today - I've posted the news in the U.S. Men's thread).

I just finished searching instead of relying on the ISU site for links to Triglav and Gardena Spring Trophy. Interesting that Rippon and Mroz were added today, since the deadline was 1 March, but, hey; they've yet to be updated on the Entries list on the official results pages. None of the Men who have a numerical chance of surpassing are listed on the roster, but if Rippon is going, he has a chance, and we'll have to wait until the rosters are finalized to see if there is a danger to Besseghier. (Song is safely 18th on the SB list and will be guaranteed one through that placement.)

None of the women who could pass Glebova, who needs to remain in 24th to be guaranteed one, are on the rosters for Triglav Trophy and Gardenia Spring Trophy, but if names can be added to the Men, they can be added to the Ladies. I'm sure Crystal Kiang will be surprised to know that she's skating for CHN (China) at Triglav Trophy.

According to the ISU site, Mladost doesn't have senior entries, and only the top 5 seniors gets WS points.

Isn't Haruka Imai competing at a Senior B? If she wins, she'll garner enough ranking points for 21 on the list.

She listed for Gardena Spring Trophy with Takahiko Kozuka.

There are only 6 Senior men listed for Mladost Trophy (8 is the minimum for WS points) but enough Senior ladies (15) for the comp. to count for WS points - event thread in Kiss and Cry: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?87382-2013-Mladost-Trophy-Zagreb-March-22-24-2013

Imai is listed for Gardenia Spring Trophy. She'd only need 133 points to tie Glebova on the adjusted WS list, and any Top 5 placement (164-250 points) will knock off Glebova and put Imai in the Top 24 WS. Where she places (24 or above) won't matter, as Top 24 WS skaters were not added to the alternates list for a second GP in any order.

None of Popova, Makarova, Osmond, Imai, or Miyahara are listed among the Senior Ladies on the Mladost site; it looks like Imai's entry at Gardenia Spring Trophy is the the only Ladies senior international entry that could affect the adjusted Top 24 WS list.

Gosviani is doing some senior B competition. Could she sneak to top 24 season best scores?

No. Senior B are NOT considered for the SB list. Her only chance right now is to be assigned to World Team Trophy.

She hasn't been assigned to world team trophy... :wuzrobbed :wuzrobbed :wuzrobbed unless either Sotnikova or Tuktamysheva needs to withdraw...

Technically, although the rules seem to be worth the toilet paper they're printed on, Lipnitskaya would have to be the substitute if either Sotnikova or Tuktamysheva pulled out, because one of her scores was used to qualify Russia for WTT

For the third year in a row the Feds are selecting whoever they want for WTT. I dont think the rules are even worth the paper.

There are two criteria in the announcement:

Only the skaters whose points have been used for the qualification calculation are eligible (unless injured or ill).
If the skaters are Top 10 at Worlds and one of the top two highest-ranked in that country, they must skate or are subject to not doing shows until WTT and other sanctions.

There's also a provision that says that says that a team can be dropped if the top skaters aren't made available.

So far, all of the Russian team meets both criteria. Hanyu has a well-documented injury and has an out, and since only his and Takahashi's scores were used, and both are top 2 WS from Japan, the Japanese Fed can appoint any other man they want, in this case Mura.

I suspect that P/B and V/M will also be excused because of injury (her legs), and if not, SC is ignoring the first criteria, but sending a dance team that meets the second. So far, they've basically followed the rules, in their own fashion, the ISU way.

Jeremy Abbott (231.84 #18, up from 227.63 #20) and Romain Ponsart (165.59 #71) are the only men who established new SB total scores at WTT.

Is Mirai likely to get bumped with Kaetlyn getting points for WTT?

WTT doesn't reward WS points, so the WS list won't change.

Nagasu is safely above the Top 24 SB cut-off (#15), so even if Daleman, Zhang, and Gilleron-Gorry land quad combinations and 3A's in their FS's to make up the 28.34-32.94 point gap, the worst Nagasu could end is 18th on the Top 24 SB list.

Osmond's SB is already higher than Nagasu's (by .14); no matter what Osmond's total score is, she'll remain above Nagasu on the SB list.

Wow! What a difference is makes going to WTT. M/K moved from 29th after Worlds to 15th, and Reeds from 37th to 24th, knocking T/S, K/GS (and I believe A/E) off seasons best list. Will this harm T/S or K/GS from getting assignments? I guess US could choose K/GS, but T/S don't have a host GP pick. Tough break.

T/S should be 22nd on the World Standings list after it is adjusted before GP (dropping 2010-11 points and factoring 2011-12 points by 70%), and if the rules are the same as this season, they should be guaranteed one spot.
