    oh~Plushenko use Dai's choreographer,then he think Dai's the best

Dai said before he contact Lori, and still have possibility to work with her, then Dai think Chan is the best???╮(╯_╰)╭

and he come back to Morozov,he think Amodio is the best??o(╯□╰)o

Before anybody gets too excited, Mao's actual programs are still done by Lori and TAT (and were choreographed before Mao went to Hungary to work with Zoltan).
Here's Mao's blog entry about her work with Lori & Tat (with cute photos featuring Mao & Lori wearing flower wreaths ade by them and TAT hugging Mao):
    http://maimao-asada.com/mao/private/2012/06/29/424/

As for Mao's work with Zoltan:
(According to Google translate & other online translators , the original interview linked by Sylvia. The final part of the interview left out due to online translators not making any sense at all )

Oh so she's doing off-ice training and dance/ballet training with him. That makes more sense. :)

That "Untouchables"/Deadmau5 mish-mash? :yikes: If he insists on keeping that monstrosity, I hope to hell he at least gets a less obnoxious costume.

Oh that was a Hungarian way of stating a request wrapped inside an invitation, that is posed as a question. ;)

something like this (stuff in parenthesis is mine):

Shall we see you in our country again, and will lovers of figure skating also have the opportunity to admire you on the ice?

    - That would depend on you... Later on I do plan to return to Budapest. If there are good (appropriate) competitions (or events?), then I would surely take to the ice if invited (to participate).

Is Zoltan Nagy the choreographer who worked with Kimmie in Baltimore after 2009?

I was thinking the same thing. I just dont get it. That program is so flat to me and Brezina does not even try and bring life to it. So far, his Kodo short program is my fav by him. The free skates that Pasquale does sometimes are not as choreography laden as i would like to see. This would be an example. The character in and of itself needs great performance skills in order to pull off...

I thought the SD theme was polka/march/waltz next season? Is there music in Moulin Rouge for that?

;)They're teasing us , I think.... It says their theme is "Paris ,Paris" ,with a heart in the middle...They just happen to post an old print of THE Moulin Rouge..Maybe Can Can ? ( made famous at the Moulin Rouge ) or any French music of the era ? or maybe any music particularly inspired by Paris , and they used the MR shot just because it's a famous old Paris attraction ?

Apache ? ( Nathalie could keep her page boy and fabian would look fine in the ubiquitous striped T-shirt. )

Well, The Infernal Galop from Orpheus in the Underworld (Offenbach) is in 2/4 time, so it could be used (music most associated with the CanCan)

This was posted over in the Russia thread:

Artur Gachinski's new LP (I'm not certain about the music?)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smhumcONIm4

Bear in mind that he only finished learning the choreo for it that day, apparently. I think it's a little slow, but it might get faster as he becomes more comfortable with the program.

Oh, it's the same muzak version of OneRepublic's "Secrets" that Davis/Ladwig is using for their SP.

I really did NOT see this one coming...the music alone is enough to throw out any possible Plush comparisons IMO. It seems a little empty right now, but I'm kind of excited to see him go in something that I would go in a not-typical-Russian-at-all direction.

Beethoven's 5 Secrets, OneRepublic (same music as Davis and Ladwig)

There's something about his step sequences in every program that I just CANNOT stand. Many skaters do frantic footwork that doesn't match the music and it doesn't bother me too much, but with him it really rubs me the wrong way. Only other skaters I had similar dislike for their step sequences were Lysacek and Plushenko. A slow, refined and elegant footwork sequence will go a long way for Gachinski

sounds like an instrumental version of 'the summer knows' to me. i'm surprised the video has so many 'dislikes' already. i feel i must watch it quite a bit more to form a firm impression.

While unsure who exactly choreographed those pieces, I LOVE THEM! Transitions are just so amazing in between and it really shows that Liza is taking them very seriously!

She's also taken seriously the criticism that her ice coverage was limited, and she's moving a lot around the ice a lot.

Well, I must say those are both vast improvements over what she had last year. They have a higher level of maturity and that will go over well with the judges, especially when she pairs that maturity with her performance energy and sparkle. The SP is slower and I didn't think she could pull it off, but the style suits her nicely. I hoped she was more than just an up-tempo kind of skater and this is her season to prove she is.

It looks like she's using the ice a little better as well. That tight circle around the center of the ice she used to skate has been widened a bit, but I'd still like to see her extend the circle of the footwork wider and really utilize the full surface of the ice. Still, much improved from last season.

The layback in the SP was still weak but that initial position was actually an improvement over the ugly twist/jagged angled leg thingy she called a layback spin last season. I'm assuming she'll be going for more than a level 0 or 1 on that element and will add to it later. Altogether, her spins are still a weak point for her, but the summer isn't over yet. Hopefully she'll continue to work.

I'm encouraged by what I've seen. If Liza T can bring out her inner artist and pair that with her killer jumps, she's going to be very tough to beat...

Tom Dickson again for Gachinsky ?

I like it ,so far. I think when he gets the timing on all the little details and accents worked out it should be really effective. ( and I hope he keeps them in )

the SP looks promising but she needs to dump the LP ( meh: " Dark Eyes " ) :blah:
maybe Dickson has better choices for her, didn't Tukt mention she would do a gypsy music ( upbeat) in LP ?

I'm actually really liking the look of this. It's a drastic improvement over the choreography he's had in the past. I think this could turn out to be a breakthrough program for him heading into Sochi. Very smart.

^i think this program is the one that will make people to stop calling him mini plush. His sp is also a great depart from the usual stuff.

Liza works her spins and ss a lot, during Italy camp she stayed on the ice the mOst of all and tried variation after variation. I believe she wili show a new face, she said she doesn't Want to stand out as junior this year.
The gipsy lp she meant is dark eyes , by Wilson choreo.

Dickson mAde a great sp( the YouTube One) but I saw lovestory sp by Wilson and I liked it more, the sequence is a killer.

Let's hope it shows. Her her ice coverage was quite bad last year. Her spins ranged from mediocre to terrible, so hopefully she's working on that as well. And her posture too. She needs to work on relaxing her shoulders when she skates...

I think her spins are very fast, in the camp at least but I don't expect het suddenly to have the layback of Alissa ..she has some new positions of her head and arms..

I didn't see any lp of Dickson for Liza, but I didn't went many times and there are two more camps. I saw the sp only on the making

the music is really nice, reminded me of something and then i learn it's by the great Lagrande, composer of Yentl and Umbrellas of Cherbourg. i've been liking Dickson's taste very much, voidy and uber romantic and a little narcissist. figure skating needs this man !
Liza T. is certainly capable of doing romantic, she has personality, i think she has the acting ability of a Kwan and a Kim, while the beautiful Sotnikova is abstract, more lines and ballet, which is equally great. These two Russians can give something good to the sport, but they'll have to be very strong mentally.
so people expect this little Liza to blow them away artistically in a summer camp video, but let's be rational especially in the future, pre-Olympic nerves are harsh on anyone. for now, brava Liza and keep up with the good (hard) work.

p.s. the ending pose is great, love it!
p.p.s. good that David Wilson did the other Love story, but i find that music as saccharine as chocolate candy commercial for S. Valentine, Brrr! i hope Liza likes this one better because i don't like the other music !

I like what I see. Liza's definitely made improvements in her ice coverage. The video is from far away, so it's hard to tell, but I think the programs look promising.

Well, at least she'll get to keep the gold loop earrings for this gypsy number.

I hate to see such beautiful and talented skaters stoop to such mediocrity. BO-ring! At least it's not POTO or Otonal.
