    The line-up has been announced:

    http://uk.tv.yahoo.com/news-extra/article/178188/full-strictly-come-dancing-line-up-revealed.html

I guess Russell Grant is going to be this year's Julian Clary/John Sargent/Ann Widdecombe. :scream:

Not a bad line-up - only three I didn't recognise, Chelsea Healey, Dan Lobb & Alex Jones! Bet Anton gets Edwina :scream:. Didn't Harry do something with Ola for comic relief - he wasn't bad as far as I remember.

    Many clips go on YouTube.

Will Holly Valance get to dance to Kiss, Kiss?

    Wheee, Stricly thread! :respec:

I started watching on YouTube, then moved to downloading entire episodes with uTorrent. Stricly was great last year, I hope it's going to be as good this season.

This is a YouTube channel that had good quality clips last year.

Some appetizers before it all starts:

Ola & James Jordan - Rumba I hope Ola is going to get someone better than last year. And younger. Although James got Pamela Stephenson and they were amazing. :swoon: Incredible chemistry and their dancing was just sooo good.

    Pamela & James:
    Waltz
    Salsa
    Rumba
    Foxtrot
    American Smooth
    Paso Doble
    Quickstep
    Viennese Waltz

For a loooong time I couldn't decide between Pamela & James and this pair:

    Matt Baker & Aliona Vilani
Cha cha cha I think this is the first clip I saw from Strictly and I was hypnotized. Mr Darcy who could cha cha, baby! Those hips... :grope: :swoon: This was his first dance, too.
    Charleston
    Viennese Waltz
    Quickstep
Argentine Tango Looks great with manliner :)
    Samba
    Jive
Tango Matt was pissed and it helped him here.

    Others I liked:
    Scott Maslen & Natalie Lowe
    Viennese Waltz
    Jive

    Kara Tointon & Artem Chigvintsev
    Argentine Tango

    And for the comic relief:
Ann Widdecombe & Anton DuBeke - Rumba Love Anton's sense of humor. Bruno's description of the dance was great.

I love Craig. My favorite judge. I hope he's back this year.

    Can't wait! :cheer2:

Also, Pasha Kovalev will be one of the pro dancers this season. I believe the show had a bit of a shake up. Several dancers were dropped and new ones brought in. I believe Artem will be returning.

Pasha's the only new one. Jared was dropped. Just as well - he looked worse than some of the celebrities last year.

I really enjoyed the launch show last night. Lulu is NOT a happy camper but since I can't stand Lulu that's just fine with me. Looking forward to seeing what some of these pairs will achieve although i think it's fairly easy to predict the trainwrecks.

Rooting for Harry Judd. McFly is my favorite band.
I really do think Harry could have a Patrick Swayze dance quality.

    Sorry. :shuffle:

Harry Judd & Ola Jordan - BBC Children In Need 2010

Actually his upper body doesn't seem too bad. His has fluidity there, the stiff "paddle of an arm" aside. But his legs... stomp, stomp, stomp... need a lot of work. But I think he has potential. And of course the fact that he's very cute will help.

From the short time they showed them dancing, unfortunately not many celebrities seemed to have rhythm. Chelsee Healey, the one with a bad case of lip trout and Holly Valance, another pretty and young one that Artem got (Kara must be steaming) were the best, I think.

I don't think it's fair Artem got her, but whatever. You'd think they'd give Anton a break already.

Anita Dobson has the most endearing personality. When she smiles and starts talking, she just lights up. She has some rhythm, too.

Jason Donovan seems very likable. Nice body, too. If he practices enough, he might go far.

The jury is still out on James' partner, Alex Jones. She might be good, she might be just average. But I laughed when Ola got Robbie Savage. I'm sure she's right, James will be very jealous.

I liked Dan Lobb a lot. He doesn't seem to have any rhythm, but he's cute. :p

Edwina Currie seems like a misunderstanding. Nancy Dell'Olio seems like a disaster.

Wheeeee loved the show last night. Lulu was latin american roadkill. :yikes: I was shocked at how awful she was!! Absolutely zero musicality  I don't know if her brain is addled with all the botox stuffed in her face or her ego can't cope with being told what to do. Either way she's toast I think.

Dan Lobb was waaaaay better than I expected although I think his latin is going to be :scream: but I thought he was undermarked in relation to the numbers doled out for others with waaaaay less content.

    I finally watched it.

No one really stood out for me. Hopefully Anita Dobson will go far, I really like her. She seems like such a lovely person and she has potential.

I want Dan Lobb to go far, too, but for different reasons. :grope: "He's a bit lippy, isn't he?"

Hopefully tonight will be more memorable.

Thought Edwina was a bit hard done by tonight - she was much better than Lulu! Had plenty of basics & she kept time. Jason was fab :). But Nancy:yikes: what was that:scream:

Jason Donovan was by far and away the best. Title is his to lose as far as I'm concerned.

    Poor Nancy.

If Jason can do a decent ballroom then he's the favourite for sure. Everyone else is playing major catch up. I also agree Edwina was waaaaay better than Lulu.

Nancy should have been an ice dancer. Far too much delusion to keep to herself.
