Vault scores are huge, but on the mens side this has always been the big scoring event. Are these majorly inflated or just somewhat usual US Championships inflated? lol

Big Ten represent!!! :respec: I've watched some of these guys compete for years with the Big Ten and it's fun to see them do so well here. Brandon Wynn is a BEAST on still rings (along with FX) and I'm not at all surprised by Ruggeri's scores because he's an outstanding athlete. I begrudgedly admit that Cameron is a great gymnast too after putting aside my OSU colored glasses for the Wolverine guy, LOL ;) This is a great meet so far and thanks for the updates! :D

I was really sorry to see Orozco get injured on vault. Does anyone have any info on his status?

After the medal ceremony for the 2000 team, Dominique Dawes ran over and put her medal on someone else (a coach?), but then they had to pose for pictures, so she had to take it back. It was great to see them all looking so happy.

    Found this:
Jonathan Horton leads Danell Leyva after men's prelims at U.S. Gymnastics Championships

ETA: Reports say that Dawes put the medal on Kelli Hill.

Fun to see them get their medals, especially the 4 who weren't part of the Magnificent 7.

The scores seem a bit high?

I like what I've seen of Ross. Hope she does well. I have to check out Ohashi, because it sounds like I would like her.

Actually I think they've been pretty good so far, based on the reports coming in. Priessman got a 9.1 for execution on her VT, and she has a gorgeous Amanar. It sounds like she did it very well here, too.
