Jeremy is taking a year off and competing in shows. This was known for a bit:shuffle:, and it was just released to the public.

http://web.icenetwork.com/news/2015/09/02/146694620

Hopefully domestically we will see him in Stars on Ice this coming tour. Also, he is set to perform in Kristi Yamaguchi's Always Dream show in Hawaii Nov 20-21, 2015.

He's also set to compete with Team NA in The Japan Open Oct 3 and perform in Carnival on Ice afterwards.

I wonder if he'll debut a new long at the Japan Open or use an old one.

Still my favorite skater ever! (well, except for my brother) So my favorite elite skater ever. I wish him all the best in whatever he chooses to do.

I support whatever Jeremy chooses to do.
Absolutely. I hope he continues to be seen- he is too good not to be. I am so happy for all his show engagements. Now he just needs Stars on Ice, and it'll be a fabulous skating year (and a chance for US fans to see him live).
If Jeremy can establish himself on a show circuit, much like Lambiel or Buttle, and keep developing his creativity, I'll be a very happy fan.

Exactly. I would love to see him eventually take the choreography job for the US tour from Jeff, because Jeremy is too good not to be doing things like that. Support him regardless, but yes I'll be bold and say I'd love to see him headline the US Stars on Ice tour with Meryl and Charlie this coming year. :respec:

I hope Jeremy's not injured. (well at least not hurting any more than usual)

I hope he does get SOI.

He hasn't been on social media as much lately.

He's not injured that I know of. And he's been constantly travelling and jet-lagged from his travels to Japan and generally laying low, I'm sure he'll be around on social media sooner than later. He's been posting more on Instagram and only instagram.

I was overly excited to see a user on Github participating in an open source project I'm involved in, with the username jeremyabbott.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that our Jeremy Abbott is the one involved. I was all ready to be all impressed and everything!

Jeremy's caption:
I don't have enough words to express how grateful I am to @westofscotlandskatingacademy for such an amazing week. This experience was truly life changing for me. One of the top 5 in my life. I was invited to do this camp only a few weeks ago and I nearly turned it down. I rarely coach when I'm home let alone head an entire seminar. I have an incredibly strong view and philosophy on how figure skating should be done, but I only put it to use with myself. This offer was so far out of my comfort zone that I was terrified to take it on. I am so happy and thankful that I did. Not only was I able to express my views on this sport and my personal philosophies, I could see massive progress in each and every single one of these kids in only a couple of days. The last session that I was working with the younger group, I was nearly brought to tears to see how much progress they had made! More than the work they put in and the progress they all made, we all had a blast. I had so much fun working with this amazing group! Thank you for believing in me, and allowing me to be a part of your journey! I must thank you all for being such a huge part of mine, and changing my life!
WSSA's reply:
We are so overwhelmed with Jeremy's kind words. We have never met someone so genuine, humble and his attention to detail was quite spectacular. We all feel we have met a friend for life! He was so open and honest and we can't believe how much he made every child feel so special individually. Jeremy holds a gift that we have been lucky enough to witness! Truly honoured for our unique opportunity and thank you from the bottom of hearts for making #WSSA about of your journey #feelinginspired #Grateful #comebackjeremy #jeremyisfamily with @repostapp.

The U.S. SOI thread in GSD has fan reviews/reports, photos, a few video links, etc., starting on page 5: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/index.php?threads/2016-stars-on-ice-u-s-tour.97534/page-5
Jeremy Abbott has two new programs for SOI- one by Jeffrey Buttle, the other by Benji Schwimmer.
Jeremy skates two solos in SOI -- "Bridge over Troubled Water" (Simon & Garfunkel) and "Peanut Butter Jelly" (Galantis), choreo. by Benji Schwimmer -- and closes the first half with Ryan Bradley and Adam Rippon in a trio number to "The Sound of Silence" (Disturbed). He also choreographed Ashley Wagner's latest exhibition program in SOI to "Dangerous Woman" (Ariana Grande).

Article published in conjunction with the upcoming St. Paul, Minn. SOI show on Sunday: http://www.lavendermagazine.com/our-scene/jeremy-abbott-misses-competing-loves-stars-on-ice/
Excerpts:
Training for shows compared to competition has been a big adjustment for Abbott, who was used to having his entire day planned out to the minute while competing. “I know what I’m eating and when I’m training — even time to watch television is scheduled,” he says. “Training for shows, it doesn’t matter what time I skate as long as I get it done. I have to maintain a baseline level of fitness because I can be called to perform at anytime, but I’m certainly not in Olympic shape. It’s been a big adjustment from having crazy strict structure to picking up and leaving at the drop of a hat!”
But with all of the fun and new experiences he’s had during his year of not competing, he has always said that he isn’t retiring from competition, even going as far as to say he would love to compete at another Olympics. “It’s never been my best competition, but it is absolutely my favorite,” he admits. “I don’t know that I will return for the 2017 season, but I’ve been pushing myself on the ice, keeping up my fitness, as well as improving my skills. I truly feel I’ve improved in this last year and I am definitely keeping a return to competition in the back on my head.”

Peanut Butter Jelly was choreographed by Benji Schwimmer and includes a backflip. Bridge Over Troubled Water was choreographed by Jeffrey Buttle. The mens trio program to Sound of Silence was also choreographed by Jeffrey Buttle.

I found the one for Jeremy at a certain site. But I'm not sure if it is allowed to post the address here, probably not a good idea.

I'll keep searching, then-still haven't found it. Any chance for a PM or hint?
