The first round wasn't a friend to the Russians, so we say farewell to Julia Soldatova, and everyone's favourite flirty pirate, Alena Leonova. :violin:

Now we just need people to not realize the voting format changed and accidentally kick off Sasha. :watch:

Well, that's exactly what I've done...and voted for Vanessa Gusmeroli, one of my favorite.
In reality, I would have voted for Nicole Bobek :P

Sokolova aka Cup Cake from my end. I never got her, and while I appreciated she went for 3-3's later on in her career, they were visibly cheated and she would stalk them forever, to the point where you'd get excited if you spotted a transition.

She had a fantastic smile and a beautiful 3Lutz :swoon:

Can votes be withdrawn?

I (wrongly) assumed it was for a favourite to stay and not someone to be kicked off. I voted for Akiko and she's my favourite :/

It should be alright, since there are 4 others with more votes than Suzuki so far.

Bye bye Laura Lepisto hopefully. Atleast Sokolova did 7 triples and a triple lutz-triple toe in every program at her Worlds to win her World medal, even if the rest of her skating was the dogs, and atleast she was a consistent skater and top competitor in Europe for many years.

I voted for Fumie. I do agree Lepisto deserves to go, but I could never get into Fumie's skating.

I voted Bonaly due to her poor skating skills between jumps. She always looked like she was on double runners to me. Very poor edge-work.
