Gorshkov is too short to go to pairs he needs a midget partner
like Agafonova who he needs to drag into pairs, she is hopeless as a singles skater

by the way. what´s with nodari maisuradze? shouldn´t he and his new partner (forgotten the name) start at one of the russian cup series? any word of them?

Ditto. And I think Nodari + partner is supposed to start later like at Russian Cup 4 or 5. Russian Cup 4 starts this week and the entry list usually shows up the day the event starts.

Agafonova is still tiny but not as small as she once was. Russian site says 154 cm. So she is a good size for pairs and yes, unfortunately, in Russia, she will go nowhere in singles. I was hoping she could pair up with Nodari but I guess he already has a new partner. If Davankova outgrows Deputat, which is looking likely at this point, that could be a good option for Agafonova. She has a lot of qualities that would make her a good pairs skater IMO.

you mean Agafonova with Deputat ? I think he one with the most safest height for her would be Moroshkin, Deputat I realized is not that tall
though I doubt they ill break up Fedorova/Moroshkin by height alone is the safest bet for her to never outgrow him, Fedorova is a midget also for a 15 year old

Yeah Agafonova and Deputat. He's listed as 180 cm so almost 5'11" so Agafonova at almost 5'1" would be a good height match, I doubt she's growing any more as she's 16 and a half. She'd really just need a partner around 178 cm or taller, and maybe even shorter like 175 if he were to be very strong in build. Agafonova isn't a stick build but she's very small boned and likely weighs very little, so she doesn't really need a tall partner.
