If that guy (and his beer belly) can finish 5th at Europeans, that gives VDP hope!

I wouldn't call what the guy in the picture has a beer belly. He has the same untoned-looking body type as Peter Carruthers, Phillip Dulebohn, John Baldwin, Jeremy Barrett, etc., but they all were competent pair partner.

[QUOTE=kirkbiggestfan;3679886]The Belgium citizenship is not the hardest one to get...ask Bernard Arnault, the French Billionaire who is about to get it.

You're a funny person, aren't you ;) It's not as easy actually. Go Kevin

Since he didn't even mention Sochi as a goal, wouldn't residence be enough for Worlds/Euros? Or even a long-term work visa?

Maybe he could get Nicole or Tara to do pairs with him. Or Tamara Moskvina.

Is Vanessa James still partnerless?

They didn't have a beer belly. As hot as Aaron Van Cleave is, he does. :P

She's spent the whole of last season competing with Morgan Cipres and they are entered for this season's GP events..............

What's Fleur up to these days? Didn't she skate pairs for a while? Maybe they could convince the IOC to let Benelux be a country for Winter Olympics purposes :)

You don't need citizenship to represent country at Europeans/Worlds. You don't even need residence or even long-term work visa to represent them. In fact, a lot of skaters represent different country then the one they train in. All you need is them wanting to send you, meet the qualification score set by ISU and not belonging to any other skating federation.

The only competition where you need the citizenship is the Olympics.

So he's a hair taller than Rockne Brubaker -- almost 5'10"
How about Bebe in Belgium?

Regardless of who becomes Kevin's partner, they MUST skate a 'two skeletons' program - Skeleton and Skelenette. :)
