While impatiently :) waiting for the videos of Stéphane Lambiel's new program to "Puttin' on the Ritz" I recalled and watched some other programs to jazz music I liked.

I love "light" jazz as a music and I love when it is performed on the ice. Not every skater does it justice though. You need to have good skating and dancing skills for this, to be able to feel the music and catch the rhythm which with jazz is not an easy task at all.

Do you have any jazzy performances and programs that you like? Please, share. :)

Some performances that I like:

Stéphane Lambiel
Tainted love (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3E2ZgrcZaY)
Let the good times roll (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EPwnxrY_Nc)
Don't stop the music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJokpTNqh08)

Yuna Kim
All of me (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEgj7l3my60)

"Take five" was popular recently:

Lu Chen 1997 Worlds SP (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZ_JYfYSO-c). She missed her elements and didn't make the freeskate final, but I thought her presentation was beautiful.

I have no idea what the music is, but I've always loved Wilson & McCall's 1984 freedance, here performed at the Sarajevo Olympics. Ignore Peggy Fleming's comments, she is an idiot.

Thank you for posting this one :)
The music is "Staccato's Theme" by Elmer Bernstein and it's very nice FD.As for the comments , maybe Peggy was little bit too harsh :shuffle:but i guess it applies to most of the commentators once in a while.Tracy herself sometimes is not the brightest and fair cockie in the jar either :slinkaway but i still like her comments.

Tomas Verner 2007 NHK Trophy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCpToQIWeks&feature=related

I've always loved Tomas and felt he should have medaled on the World stage (he came close a few times). I think Tomas is a wonderfully expressive (and sexy) skater. His countryman, Brezina, has a sexy voice and great jumping ability, but none of the expressiveness that Tomas possesses. Will be interesting to see if Brezina's new coaching situation helps improve his presentation skills.

Gary Beacom -- I'm Your Man Love it! Love him!

Cousins' Satan Takes a Holiday (posted earlier) is one of my absolute favorite skating performances!

Thanks for this thread (I'd forgotten about some of the performances posted). :)

 This music is considered jazz? Seriously? I listen to a lot of jazz, all periods and genres, and this doesn't sound even remotely like any kind of jazz I've ever heard.
