The articles about Lochte had me :rofl: x100. I usually don't watch interviews with athletes except the occasional football player because that's what gets on tv around here, and I usually don't regret it.
The thing with guys like these is that they have lousy feedback systems, seriously, who is going to turn to a good-looking high achiever and call him on his bullshit? I've seen this happen with regular guys so I can only imagine it gets a lot worse when you climb up the ladder. In a way I feel sorry for them, no one is pretty faced forever and one day their lack of basic filters will bite them in the you know what.

This American LOVES Canada. I'm kind of a Canadian wannabe, especially as the uber conservatism/American "exceptionalism" thing sweeps certain parts of the USA. Every time I've visited Canada I'm struck by how nice people are there.
