Rings makes my arms hurt. I'm almost too tired now to lift this fork with cake on it to my mouth. Almost.

ETA: Chen is so cute.

PML at Tim handing over the rings title to Yebin on a platinum platter before Zanetti was off the podium.

I guess that's why the showed Jordan earlier; so they can prepare us for Bad Decisions in Rings.

Did they seriously chack Radivilov?

Poor Ukranians. :( Just can't get any respect.

I like how enthusiastic Mikulak is about everyone else's vaults. He's now won me over as a fan:respec:

As a Ukrainian American I am offended by NBC

Same for me. People always ask how I can like swimming so much and be so meh about track. Can't explain it, it's just true.

I think it's because I swam for 5 years, and I enjoyed that so much more than running around a track. (although I had to do that every year in gym class)

I am totally in love with Mustafina. Gymnastics needs that flare again.

Dare I say it but ... has the NBC prime-time coverage improved drastically since Track and Field started? They are actually showing the heats, and comparing the times of the racers. They are doing fluff pieces about athletes from other countries. They are (gasp!) even showing medal ceremonies from other countries. The commentators seem informed, like they know the sport. They are comparing the results of this race with past Olympics. Seems like less time is wasted.

Like ... why couldn't it have been like this the first week?
