Mustafina is actually the most successful female of the quad with 8 world and Olympic medals. (Obviously 3 of them gold)...She apparently said her dad was all you beat me when she got a silver, well she has for sure beaten Dad now! No female is going to top her. (of the quad not over all her) here.

Men's VT finals up next. I really hope Koczi hits and then goes on to do his tell-all interview where he explains why he skipped AA. Who cares the Romanian men's team isn't that good any more? They still bring :drama: and :watch:

I looked up Amanar and she did get a bronze on floor in Sydney. So there is no AA champ that I can think of that came away totally empty handed from EFs, although the only once since Nadia (!) to win a gold in EFs was Lilia's floor gold in 96.

I meant a medal of any colour. Most AA champs haven't won EF gold - it's actually harder to find one that has won both AA gold and EF gold. I think the only one in recent history who has is Pod. But I think they've all won some kind of medal in EFs - Nastia had 2 silvers and a bronze, Carly had silver on beam, Gutsu had a silver & a bronze, etc.

My bad. :)

Heh, you realized that at about the same time as Rod Black. I hope you enjoy sharing a brain with him ;)

No clue who that is but :scream:?

The Canadian commentator - well known as being the "talking mustache" in skating coverage (although he has since shaved off his mustache) and for his big man-crush on Elvis Stojko. :scream: is the right reaction!

These results demonstrate (again) that anyone can win on a given day.
Congratulations to the medalists!
