Eh, Gabby is almost completely solid on beam, but I really dislike the way she flails her arms and always half-pointed toes. Sorry.

Sorry, trying not to fall asleep like I did last night.

No problem. I was just really confused there for a while.

I wasn't the only one complaining last night, there were a lot of complaints.

Thank god NBC is on my side on this one. Swimming is the one sport that cannot be followed in any other way than actual video coverage.

After the men's competition, the women with only four events seem so short.

Way to go Gabby!! She really has peaked at the right time.

I wonder if Gabby has one more of those beam sets in her for Beam finals? She could totally get a medal. Although if it is EF where she finally makes a mistake, I won't be complaining. She hit the three she needed most.

You mean Mustafina?

Sorry, trying not to fall asleep like I did last night. Babbling.

Aly looked so normal to start. I just can't get over the fact that she missed. I'm sure she can't either. :fragile:

Before she went up, I thought "Well, no matter what happens, at least she hit when her team needed her to."

Glad she hit for herself too :)

I can see that since you responded to that twice. don't worry about it. I've been there.

Oh, I haven't seen that.

You are lucky. It's sort of nonstop lately.

That's OK--I think I said Australian when I meant Austrian last night

And I love all the swimming too--used to swim when I was a little fish.

Anyone hear what Mihai was saying to Aly?

Gabby's mom has looked so zen compared to Aly's.

I love that both Chow and Mihai have been helping both girls.

Jordyn might be feeling for Aly. But she is probably thinking "why couldn't you have done that in qualifying!"

I was just thinking that about Aly. That was just surprising. She's been so solid on this event.

I fell asleep before Danell Leyva, remember closing my eyes just as he was coming on NBC at 12:15am.

Ali's arm fluorishes went perfectly with the Spanish music. I will ignore the rest. It did not happen.

Except to say, that 14.2 might have been generous. One gift, American (Ali on bars) On gift, Russian (Komova, vault).
