The slo-mo replay apparently shows that Uchimura hit handstand for a nano second, so he got credit for it.

Just when I thought the FIG couldn't be more moronic, apparently now they charge to file inquiries? That entire federation organization needs to be replaced, STAT.

WTF?!!!!!! I'm thinking the FIG is the only governing body more screwed up than the ISU.

Yep.

Grandi makes Speedy look amazing.

Jake Dalton = hottest American gymnast, y/y?

Yes, and he didn't have a meltdown. Please tell me they showed his routines.

They showed vault and floor.

Looking at it in real time, I could buy that Uchimura was at a hand stand for a split second. Someone needs to get on finding if there is a screen shot of him actually in that position. Come on, internet.

I'm really sad for the US because apparently they sucked so much they were kicked out of the event before the final rotations. ;)

Rings are just a myth. Pay no mine to the bulging arm muscles in the background. This is not the apparatus you see (waves hand).

I love how they're trying to pretend this is in "real" time. Are they setting it up so that since the Americans didn't medal, we can at least wuz-rob the Brits?

If you count a handstand as your legs being in a 90 degree split, I suppose he did.
