Philipp Boy fought so hard for that vault - good man!

I really hope I run into him when I move to Berlin in January. I believe he lives/trains there. I see no reason why this shouldn't happen:swoon: :shuffle::o

Chinese guys form is atrocious in many moments and elements but still do the job

I am very sad for the american guys, really wanted a medal for them but I think the bronze will end up to the brits

Yeah, the scoring for China on vault was a joke. Something needs to be done to differentiate more in the deductions. I don't care if scores go down even more. They wouldn't go down for the great gymnasts but they would for those who chuck skills like Zou Kai on vault.

I missed Uchimura's vault but I've heard that, in general, he doesn't get a lot of height or distance on his vaults. It looked to me like Zou does so maybe that accounts for the similarities in E-scores.

The last score they have on the floor tab is Ablyazin. :rolleyes:

No you guys do ! I was :eek: to see almost 300 guests viewing this forum at 6am Brit time this morning. We must be profiling high on google cos this is such a brilliant Olympics Forum :cheer: (Im reading a very busy one as well, but it's such a snooze!)

Or as one of my fellow admins said, maybe the extra traffic is due to the excellent dating dilemma advice given here ;)

Uchimura was way off to the side and had a big skip forwards, plus I think maybe a second micro-skip that he didn't need to take that probably counted. Plus, yes, it wasn't very big.

But Zou Kai's "amanar" looked to me like it was even less around than Shawn's in Beijing, plus it was a huge pile of ugly. It was really high, but so is Maroney's, and she was better than him in every way and got the same score. It was a joke.
