Looks like Sam had a good PB routine. At this point I hope they can all just be clean - no major disasters.

And how he managed to do it very decently AA and qualified

he was very deer in the headlights TODAY I would say

He most likely will be so disappointed after today that he will most likely have a re-visit in the AA (hope he proves me wrong)

He wasn't a disaster but his eyes looked like he was always on the verge of it. He got it done, but every landing had a "omg, whew.... got through that" feeling and he looked so stressed after each routine - like "coach, do I have to do another event, I'm going to barf now." He wasn't much into the team element or congratulating the other guys or cheering at all. Just looked all wrapped up...

Come to reflect on it, Orozco and Levya appear to not be as into the team aspect, and I wonder if it's not just that they are individual AA and (for Levya) event faves, but also that they did not participate in college gymnastics, which really emphasizes the amazing camraderie you often see with American men's teams.

Mykola Kuksenkov 15.100 on pommel horse, I like the guy, find him a bit of sexy

Big hit for Mikulak on PBars. Glad to see he's still fighting. Now we'll see if Orozco can find some of that.

This must be absolutely killing Horton.

Everyone is a bundle of nerves.

They need some whisky in their sports drinks.

I don't think I'm going to like any of these results. I'd be happy with Japan-China-GB but I have little hope it'll shake out like that in the end :(

I know nothing about pommels, but the Ukrainians seem to be good at it.
