This is making me bawl. My heart is so broken for Jordyn. :fragile: :wuzrobbed

I hate that two per country rule. Always have, always will. Three was much better. :(

That was really hard to watch. Poor Jordyn! :( Hope she can rebound and put together a kick butt performance in team finals.

I wonder is most of the U.S people watching want to hug Weiber now and tell her it's ok, people will probably be rooting for her like no other at team finals, at least there's that as a bright side.

How long have they had the two gymnasts per country rule? IIRC since 2004, right? It's not remotely a new rule.

I think it's just part of who she is. It doesn't bother me.

The "London" in that xfinity commercial was definitely Beijing.

This 2 per country rule has been around for a while.

I find it funny that only now people are calling for it to be eliminated.

I don't like it either, but it's not like it's anything new.

Has there ever been someone who was as high as 4th place in preliminaries who didn't qualify for AA because of this rule? I'm legitimately curious.

I think 2 per event final is kinda fair since that's already 25% of the spots. But when I look at the scores of some of the women who made the cut for AA because of the 2 per event limit... it seems like a darn shame that we won't see the best of the best competing in the AA.

Same.

I wish they had just let Jordyn leave instead of steering her back towards the reporters.

One misstep by Jordyn, one 'slow' leg by Lotchke - one big day of upsets.

Wonder if there will be calls to just put through the top 8 in the future, even if it's 5 of one team and 3 others?

I hate Andrea Joyce normally, but she wasn't bad on the girl.

:fragile: Jordyn... I admire her composure in not knocking Andrea Joyce out with her "what was going through your mind?" questions.

I hate the rush in to speak to the person who had such high hopes to get that first stupid question in. How does it feel Jordyne?

"You know I am so thrilled to have missed being in the most important competition - AA in the Olympics." I wish she would tell her - I had it bitch, now leave me alone
