General question, are spoilers allowed in this thread? I worked all day and haven't seen any of the results, so I'm watching completely unspoiled for once! ( :cheer2: ) So if people might happen to talk about what happened earlier today, I'll peel out of the thread. :)

I think there's always that danger in this thread. It's supposed to be spoiler free, and I'm sure everyone will mean to keep it that way, but I know for a fact that several of the posters in here (including me) know what happened in a lot of the events being shown, and accidents happen.

I think you have the most to worry about in swimming and gymnastics, so you might want to avert your eyes while those sports are being shown.

I doubt they would have caught up to gold, but I think US girls were underscored a few times. Still, amazing job!

I sometimes feel like diving is like ice dancing of old, where it is all about rep, and the Chinese (who are very good) get handed gold.
