I did say could. ;) Certainly I don't think that the team will be the four of them and one other guy, but they do have a lot of potential to grow from here.

I know. :) I was trying to ward off jinxes.

Why is NBC not showing sports?

Even though he didn't do well, I'm glad they showed the Irish guy on floor. As someone who was also told I might not be able.to walk again (they were wrong, I'm fine for now) it really is inspiring to see these athletes, even if they have no medal chance. (same reason I like watching the early groups at 4CCs, even without the inspirational stories)

Oh! In that case, these guys are super old. It's good they made the Olympics while they still have time before they all need walkers.

Excuse my ignorance, but I watch gymnastics every four years. And every four years I'm stunned by what those guys do on the pommel horse. It's amazing they all don't fall off.

Hey Jude made no sense to me. Should have chosen Why don't we do it in the road? Would have been applicable to many sports.

Okay, I cut NBC a lot of slack but there's no reason for an opening ceremony summary right now. It's not even a sport.

To prove to the IRS that NBC really had all those commentators putting in work hours?

Well, sometimes they do all fall off... (Love to all of you, team USA 2008)

Especially the ones taking place in the Olympic village.

Rowdy is almost as irritating as Andrea Kramer, but certainly as irritating as Tim Daggett. Andrea just asks the stupid questions that NBC tells her to. Rowdy and Tim are supposed to have knowledge of the sport, but really just like to hear themselves talk

Lots of them do. Especially Americans.

Watching this makes my arms hurt. I remember when I was going to be an Olympic swimmer. Unfortunately, it takes talent and shoulders and fitness and being taller than 5'0.

They just showed a preview for The Expendables 2. I don't think I can handle that much testosterone.
