Sold out my horses arse! those are the tickets that belong to the corporate sponsors and the so called "Olympic Family" it drives me absolutely nuts that they continue to do this, every Olympic Games it doesn't matter where they are, but for some reason the IOC has taken away even more tickets from the general public this games and it seems to be glaring even more so these games. The fact that they have a "lottery system" for people to get tickets also drives me nuts, I wish it would just be first come first serve ala ticketmaster.

There is no server in the world that would not crash if it was on a first come first served basis. The lottery system is fine. The amount of tickets that go to sponsors should be looked at, but then again they are the ones paying significantly towards the whole shebang.
