:fragile: I loved Sherman. He was from Philly too. Sad.

I always found it odd that both he and Good Times actor John Amos were both 20 years younger than Isabel Sanford and Esther Rolle, who played their wives, Weezie and Florida.

RIP Sherman.

I didn't even realize he was still alive. Not sure why I thought he had already passed away. RIP.

Yes, but I didn't think this wasn't obvious on the shows. Both Hemsley and Amos were old-looking 30-somethings.
