Depeche Mode really should have covered "It's My Party".
1) Labradors.
2) Somehow, Sam Shepard just edges it for me.

1) #121, if you have a preference.
2) John Simon: yay or nay?

Barbie rules! She's a doctor, a politician, an architect, a figure skater, and god only knows what else yet she still finds time to date Ken all while helping raise little sister Skipper!
CPK: too huge a fad to ignore.
Josie and the Pussycats
vs
Jem (she's truely outragious!)

Francie! Black is beautiful!
or maybe not...
A "colored Francie", first issued in 1967, was the first doll in the Mattel line with a truly dark complexion. However, the doll did not have stereotypical African American features, since it was made with the same head molds as the Caucasian Francie doll. Because of this, a doll named Christie, first issued in 1968, is often considered the first true African American doll in the Barbie line. "Black Francie" was not labeled as "Barbie's Modern cousin."
