Tom and Peter had decent synch, but the former wasn't vertical in the entry. :(

It looks as if that 4th dive may have cost the GB team a medal :(

And it has - so sad!!!

Congrats to the Chinese 10m platform synchro winners and other medal winners as well especially Mexico's duo. Is this Mexico's first medal in diving?

Mexico has a rather decent history in Olympic diving, going back to Capilla in the 40s and 50s.

Platas and Mena dove during the 80s and won silver......

And most recently Mexico won the bronze in Women's 10M Synchro in Beijing. :)

NBC has a feature on "diving faces"

They've got nothing on jump faces...

Thank you :D

This is our first medal in diving at the syncho event on the men´s side, we have never won a medal since its olympic debut

And its our first of the London Games, we needed it to boost the delegation confidence and take out pressure about ´who will win our first medal´

Tomorrow Paola Espinosa and Alejandra Orozco (15 year old) will go for a medal in the 10m platform synchro

Diving is very succesfull sport in our country, we tend to do well and are poised to get probably 3 medals at London (1 down, 2 to go)

Haven't seen it yet, but will try to catch it later tonight during Olympic Primetime.

Congratulations to Mexico!!! Feel so bad for the Brit boys, as this was one of those events Team GB was expected to medal in.

Anyone else realize that all of the big firsts of the Games for all three North American Countries happened at the Aquatics Centre?

Canada ~ First Medal yesterday w/Jennifer and Emilie!!

Mexico ~ First Medal today in Men's Tower Syncro.

USA ~ Saturday and Ryan Lochte's Gold in the 400 IM in Swimming.

Kind of cool and neat in a way. :)

You are right Aragorn

And yes, congratulations to Emily Heymans, she is one of those few divers who had win a medal in 4 consecutive olympics

I loved watching the Mexicans - I had never seen two of those dives even in single competition - the inward 4 1/2 for example!!
