Very weak competition after the preliminaries

And Paola Espinosa was very off form today, qualified in 13th place to the final but still with real chances of doing what we expect from her, take a medal this time after coming in 4th in Beijing

I hope she got the nerves out of her during this preliminaries because her level is way better than the rest of the field, except Chen Ruolin the defending world and olympic champion. Paola needs to refocus her and keep concentrated, erase what happened today. Maybe the bronze by Laura Sanchez got into her as she wasnt expected to medal and the limelights were over Paola to be ' the one '

The silver medal could be there up for grabs to anyone who dives consistently, even the second chinese looked sloppy.

About to start off...Hope Paola does well here. And my Malaysian friends who don't really post anything besides soccer on FB are now debating degrees of difficulty, so I hope the Malysian girl does well, as well :P.

I am very upset and concerned about Paola, I dont know whats happening to her. She even stated in some interview after the semifinal where she barely qualified, that she was glad of advancing because she didnt think she would, this is not the best of statement and not of our biggest medal hopefulat this games given her credentials, talent and experience

And taking in consideration that she already won a medal in the synchro event so I really dont know why she is so disappointing with her form and her attitude, individually this is her time, the best shot she would ever have at a medal in the platform and she just have been a shadow of herself
