I did this for the Vancouver Games. I'm an Olympic/multisport nut and for the days Olympics are on I'll be pretty glued to it. Unfortunately being London time viewing sports is going to be rather difficult. Vancouver was way better as the times sport was being shown was very similar to NZT. Thus I'm pissed I won't be watching many events live.

Anyway I love gymnastics so that is the ultimate sport for me. I'll watch Rhythmic and trampoline but my whole focus will be on the Artistic side.

I have always enjoyed swimming much more than athletics but I'll be watching athletics too. I like Diving as well but am not a big fan of synchronised swimming.

I'm less excited about track cycling as I don't agree with the changes they've made. Removing both the points race and individual pursuit sucks in my opinion (they are part of the Omnium). Of course I'll watch anyway. And I like BMX racing. Rowing seems to be New Zealand's best chance for medals and therefore it'll be a must watch.

I'm also keen to watch the equestrian and will keep an eye on the sailing and Canoeing. I don't do team sports and am not interested in wrestling, taekwondo or judo. I also don't get boxing or weightlifting.

If NBC airs it (over the air...) I'll watch it.

My favorite sports are diving, men's gymnastics (the women make me too nervous, and last night did not help that), and rhythmic gymnastics. I also really like track and field and swimming. I just started rowing, so I'm excited to watch that too.

Really the only thing I don't care for is wrestling and weight lifting, but if they are on, I usually watch too. I don't watch boxing.

I love the Olympics.

I'll watch anything except team sports (apart from proper volleyball for some reason).

Athletics will be number one priority. First week will just be a warm-up to that and I'll watch the swimming if I don't get too bored seeing Phelps win another 350 gold medals to add to his collection.

Gymnastics then for craptastic floor routines and hand flourishes and mens diving for the porn. I'll watch the Irish boxers matches because that's where our medal hopes are.

Everything I can.

allezfred, I especially look forward to Katie Taylor kicking butt all over the Boxing competition. I'll make sure to cheer extra loud, just for you. ;)

You should add men's gymnastics for the porn - the U.S. team is full of hotties. :swoon:

Thanks to NBCOlympics.com's promise of FULL coverage, I definitely wanna catch all the Canoeing, Rowing, & Equestrian events! :)

And of course the biggies like Diving, Swimming, Gymnastics, and TENNIS! :biggrinbo

I like to watch as much as I can, but I'm pretty typical, for me the biggies are Swimming/Gymnastics/Track and Field....and a little less so, Diving. Swimming is the biggest though.

I'm open to everything except Boxing. Favorites: gymnastics, track & field, swimming/ diving and the equestrian events. I'm such a fan girl. :cheer2:

Swimming, track and field and diving. They never seem to show enough of the track and field - I like pole vaulting, discus, javelin etc. and that seems to get short shrift. :(

I'll be watching her like this ---> :yikes:

Massive favourite and our big/only hot gold medal hope. Absolutely ripe for an upset especially with Quanita  Underwood in as a wild card.

Pretty much everything except wrestling, boxing and basketball. Unless there's a Puerto Rican contender I'm unaware of.

I'll also no doubt be forced to sit through beach volleyball during primetime NBC coverage but it'll be my reading break.

Sounds like I'm not the only one who it would be easier to ask what events won't we be watching. LOL.

My standout favorites would be gymnastics and equestrian.

I probably won't be tuning in to basketball, wrestling, boxing, and the like. I might have things like volleyball (beach and otherwise) on for noise, but probably won't be glued to it.

Track & Field, swimming/diving and the like will be ones I'll get into while it's on, but they aren't sports I really follow in a non-Olympic year.

Gymnastics, swimming, and diving are my biggies. I will probably watch a bit of track and field.

No team sports though, I've never cared for them.

Tennis will be my #1 :cheer: It's Wimbledon but with color :)
Also will be keeping a close eye on gymnastics.
I enjoy swimming and track & field, but they're not a priority.
