View Full Version : Dutch Artist Turns Beloved Dead Cat Into...A Helicopter?
This is kind of warped, innit? (http://www.buzzfeed.com/tommywes/half-cat-half-machine-and-totally-insane) I've never seen anything so fecking weird in my life? Half of me wants to , the other half is almost offended. What was he thinking.
Discuss.

Oh, that is just not right! :scream:
And people thought Charles Dickens (http://www.neatorama.com/2011/05/20/charles-dickens-cat-paw-letter-opener/) was weird.
At least a cat's paw isn't staring blankly into the air as s/he whirrs in the air with propellers tied to its extremities. The cat's eyes are really skeeving me out...

Might just be a coincidence but my computer went bat-shit crazy after clicking on that link. A reboot seems to have fixed the problem.

That is taking taxidermy to an extreme.
So what do people think about this?

It is a Kitten Trophy Rug which is in the MONA gallery in Hobart, Australia. The kitten was still born and got turned into a rug.

This is weird and strange for certain, but no harm was done to the cat in the making of this cat-a-copter.:P
So long as he was a loving and responsible cat owner, he does not harm by expressing himself in this odd way as an artist.

Wonder how long it will take The Bloggess to write a post on this? She has a thing for taxidermied animals.
