O, i know. When Davis asked judges after FD at WCh what they want from D-W, the answer was: "You need to fire Shpilband" :)))))))))))))))))))
Where did this information come from?

After FD press-conference at WCh she said, she will have meeting with judges and will ask what they want to see from D-W.

Anyway, it's sad that the USFS has not cared to comment on Chock and Bates' plans. I know they aren't one of the Big 3 (Big 3 according to them because there is no Big 3 to begin with), but they are an American team training under both coaches. Are they leaving? Breaking up? I wouldn't say that Chock is one of Zoueva's favorites at all.

I agree, but I'm sure that Marina will do whatever she needs to do to keep all of the teams she can. She has something to prove.

What evidence has there been of that?

This is ridiculous. When you teach skaters from the time they are young teens or even pre-teens, which happens to be the case in this particular situation, they will always be kids to you. Just like my kids will always be kids and just like I was always one of my parents' kids. Coaches talk like that all the time, just like parents do. And there is absolutely nothing pejorative about it.

Some coaches do talk like that all the time. Not all do. I'm simply pointing out that there are different experiences with the use of the word.

Cruising never said that all do, just that it was common for the coaches to call their students "kids" which has been my experience as well. I found nothing objectionable in her original post.

Thanks Pani. Hopefully someone will translate some of the pages. I don't think the rink is named there, but he does mention "Crocodile tears" in reference to Marina (he may have been speaking about her past). I think he also mentions that he likes Marina's choreography.

No, calling adults "kids" is not pejorative at all. :shuffle:

When kids grow up, you acknowledge them as adults and stop calling them kids.
